Comfort Suites Speedway - Kansas City

Our family was in town for the state gymnastics meet and I had reserved rooms at your hotel. Staff at your hotel were very helpful in making reservations and modifications to my reservations. One room was ready when family arrived and the second room was ready within a few minutes. Everyone was courteous and attentive to our needs and requests. I would highly recommend your hotel for anyone staying in the area.

Evening front desk receptionist Georgia is always so nice. She reads the notes/request that were made at the time of booking. Lobby is inviting, and smells clean. Housekeeping does an amazing job keeping rooms clean. I’ve been staying at this specific hotel when visiting KC for the past 4 years and never had an issue with anything broken and/or dirty. King beds are super comfortable, with 6 good size pillows. Great location with restaurants and shopping malls/centers minutes away.

Sierra at the front desk was awesome. She helped me get a problem with my membership straitened out. A very nice and caring person. Our room was nice and comfortable. We had a good variety for breakfast. Will stay here again when we are in the area.

Positive: The hotel was cleaner than expected. It looked as though they were doing some updating with the flooring, etc. The room was clean, although furniture placement could have been better. Sofa, chair, light all shoved in a line on the wall wasn't welcoming. Negative: The location was a bit deceiving for Legends area listing. But it was quiet. Railroad employees were staying there. Kind of brought down the hotel. Beer bottles in the hallway landing, sitting on the floor talking on the phone. Not acceptable.

I rented this hotel for my kids and I on the 4th of January I paid all the fees for my dog the keys never worked to get in the room. They lied and said they didn’t clean our room but they did the GM said they had a pet policy of 40lbs lie number one nothing in the policy said 40 lbs not only that they waited until six days later to tell us that our dog was to big and we couldn’t extend our stay any longer. (My dog is a service dog) This hotels food goes straight through you my daughter has now had the runs for two days from eating their breakfast once. If I could give a negative review I would just for how they have treated us we literally would only use this room to sleep we would leave at 6am-8 am and not come home till the evening at like 8-9pm never again and we had to deal with people yelling and thier dogs barking at 4:30 am but no one else got kicked out or talked too. I am here with my two children 5 and 2 and it is snowing and even though we’ve paid in plenty of time to extend they are kicking us out worst hospitality my dog nor the kids have done anything to this hotel for them to be that rude and hateful. Especially when the front desk lady always seems to hate her job and they are all always on their cells when I walked up there

Third time staying here, quiet area but just a couple exits up the highway from good restaurants. Rooms are pretty nice and good service. This has become our go-to spot when staying in the KC area.

I've had a room for a week but today my family and I decided to get a room near the legends area because it was my daughter's 17th birthday earlier in the week and she has a best friend in the area since we lived here before going to Blue valley. Upon arrival Georgia was rude and repeatedly asked how many would be in my room since she saw my minvan. I told her 4 then told her I got the room that sleeps 5 I had my nieces and nephews with me and explained that my sister was getting them back and that they weren't staying. She then asked the same question multiple times throughout the check in process. I left due to working overnight at 6:30pm. Georgia watched my two daughters and their friend the entire stay harassing them. She even stepped inside the room asking for names and ages and confronted my daughter about slamming the broken door when she walked out. She said my daughter's had 4 other guest earlier who left before 10pm and called me while at work threatening that they had to get out unless I came home from work telling me of her 21 and over policy. Luckily their friends boyfriend was there who was 21. (Only 4 in the room) My daughter's are very responsible one is 18 the other 17 I don't see an issue of them staying there without me there the entire time. Georgia told me over the phone that her manager would call me. He did not. Instead she called me back giving me the message that he gave for me to her. She also refused to give me a last name for Bryan the gm. I was very tempted to leave work to call the police on her for listening at the door and watching them 24/7 harassing them. I would love footage for the day to be viewed by corporate.
