North Shore Lighthouse Suites

Great place to stay! Great location. Both bedrooms were large. The sauna was perfect after a chilly day of hiking. The added soaps and lotions etc were a nice treat. I will definitely stay again!

We stumbled upon the North Shore Lighthouse Suites after a fiasco dealing with our original cabin getting double booked up in Isabella. Kathy was more than accommodating to our last minute booking! The place was set up perfectly, clean and very cozy. The sauna was an added bonus! We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Excellent stay with everything we needed. We arrived and felt like we forgot a lot of things. But everything we thought we forgot they had on site. They had board games, dishes, fold up table, newspapers to start the fire, towels in the sauna, a motion activated light by the wood shed which was full of wood. The stay was wonderful and I would definitely come back.

My family and I stayed and the Lighthouse a little before Christmas and we couldn’t be happier with our stay. The sauna and the whirlpool were highlights! Very cozy and fully equipped! Highly recommend it! Can’t wait to go back!

This was perfect for our extended family of 9 to stay for a weekend. I loved that it was a little more secluded so my son could just wander the grounds. We rented both suites and they were so beautifully furnished and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and it felt like such a luxury stay between the jacuzzi tub, the fully equiped kitchens, the saunas, and fire pits. We will defintely be staying there again! Some things to note: -the water took a little while to heat up but then stayed hot all weekend. -they do not allow dogs inside the suites so one person from our party had to stay at dog friendly accommodations. -the train runs near this property during daytime hours. My son loved running to see it when he would hear a horn. -there was a washer and dryer which was ideal for my messy kiddos. -they had games, fire places, big screen tvs, saunas, outdoor fire rings with endless fire wood, wine glasses, ice, extra table and chairs, pack n play, toiletries, blow dryer, curling iron, towels, roasting sticks, wifi and ample parking. -deer frequented the property.

Pat and Kathy really put a lot of thought into the people who stay here. The rental was stunning and we loved that we were only a few minutes from the lake, beautiful hiking along the sucker river and a short drive from both Duluth and Two Harbors. Highly recommended!!!

Loved staying here! The condo was clean and well maintained. Kathy was great to work with and we were very pleased with our accommodations. I would definitely be back!
