★I have stayed at this hotel twice. The first experience was good--this is a barebones hotel. The beds are comfortable. There is no carpet--which I prefer. They allow for dogs. The second stay was a disaster. I was given a room that was occupied by someone else and when walking in I clearly interrupted an intimate experience. Awkward. I was told the hotel was oversubscribed by 4 rooms...I was given a vacant room, but won't go back. It was a level of incompetence I have never experienced before. Too bad.

NillFirst room had a toilet that didn’t work. Second room didn’t have body wash in bottle but that was a minor inconvenience. Joseph front desk receptionist was awesome. Helped me switch rooms and explained the amenities the hotel has. Very friendly very chatty. Hotel is in a great location with different shopping stores and restaurant's. Quiet atmosphere only loud noise is the doors closing across from you. Comfy beds, clean sheets, large tv. Has a fridge no microwave. Microwave is in the lobby downstairs. Missed breakfast so not sure what is served, but they have 24hr drink station downstairs in the lobby. No pool but have a gym.

NillI’m terrible with names, but the gentleman working desk both nights of our stay was WONDERFUL. He’s kind and attentive. We had 2 nights of luxury sleeping. Nice clean rooms. Soft comfy beds. I liked the bright lights in the halls. I definitely recommend this hotel to everybody. I liked the usb plugs in the rooms. Very updated

★★★★★We have stayed at this hotel a few times while visiting family in the area. It is in a very nice location, clean inside and out, comfortable bed, love the shower, has just what you need. The price is always competitive. Would recommend and will stay again at our next visit.

★★★★Hotel was clean and staff was friendly! Kind of a basic hotel with no microwaves in room or coffee makers but both are found in the lobby. Nice options for a quick breakfast. Good wifi. Definitely needs some work on the heaters as room temp was hard to control. Can hear people above you walking around. Overall a good place to stay for a decent price!

★★★The front desk staff was not welcoming. When I inquired about the possibility of a late checkout — a benefit I noticed was available to me as an IHG member through the application — my request was refused without courtesy or explanation. The breakfast experience was disappointing. There was a lack of respect for cultural and religious dietary needs, as all available hot sandwich options contained pork. I raised my concerns with the front desk staff, but the response was dismissive and rude. Additionally, due to my milk allergy, I am unable to consume bakery items such as muffins or bagels, and there were no alternative options like eggs provided. Despite these limitations, I was charged for breakfast, from which I could not benefit.

NillThis place is clean and although the rooms are a little smaller I enjoyed the cleanliness of the whole place. The staff were great when helping me with items I needed. My only complaint is the hot water in the shower was warm at best.

★★★I had an appointment in Andover for my dog and was looking for a hotel that allowed dogs and didn't charge a lot to have a dog. It's hard to find a hotel that allows dogs and when you find them, they all charge super high fees ($100 per dog) to have a dog in the room. I found this hotel about 20 min from my appointment and it was only $25 a night for my dog. I've never stayed at an Avid, even though I'm an IHG card holder and use my points often, we usually stay at Fairfield Inn locations. |Upon arriving I was greeted and welcomed nicely. The hotel was clean, but the room was smaller than any I've stayed in years. I did have a king room on the 3rd floor. I like that the floor had no carpet, especially because it is a hotel that allows pets. |The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, TV nice size, bathroom clean and big. However, I was awakened over and over, all night long, by loud popping noises. ALL NIGHT LONG!! By morning I was so tired! |When I travel I choose hotels that have a coffee maker, microwave and fridge in the room. I like to bring stuff to eat while in the room. However, this hotel does not offer microwaves or coffee makers in the room. I also like to have a free hot breakfast. Well, this place offers free breakfast, but it's not good at all. They have a selection of high sugar foods, (fruit, cereal, breakfast bars, bread) and then a display like in a gas station with 2 different breakfast sandwich options. I took one of each, as I was super hungry, but both were horrible. And in order to have coffee you have to go to the lobby and get it there. I really dislike having to leave the room for my coffee at 6 am. |Because my dogs vet appointment wasn't until 11:45, I was able to try and rest more before leaving as checkout was 11am. |Then I had to stop on my drive home to buy breakfast. In all the years of traveling and staying at hotels that offered the "free" breakfast I've never had to leave to go get a good breakfast. For that reason and the loud noises all night, I give this only 3 stars. ||The area was nice and I was able to walk my dog and felt safe. However, whoever takes care of the garbage pick up and emptying the dog garbage bins (for doggie poo), needs to up their game. ||And, as a side note for those who do travel with dogs... PICK UP YOUR DOGS POOP!!! You are gross humans and by you not cleaning up after your dog!!! ||All in all I'd stay at an Avid again, I'd just be prepared and bring instant coffee and snacks/breakfast foods I know I can eat.
