NillOur stay at the 1872 Inn was short but memorable. Although the hotel is on the pricier side, the exceptional service really stood out. We arrived late in the evening, and the front desk staff was more than ready for us. The gentleman at check-in provided excellent dinner recommendations along with a helpful map, and personally escorted us to our room, which was a nice touch. The room itself, while cozy, was smaller than expected based on the online photos, and our view, unfortunately, was of a dumpster. However, the amenities inside made up for it. The two-person shower was amazing, and we loved the luxurious towel warmer. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the complimentary snacks were a nice extra. While we didn’t get a chance to try the sauna, it looked inviting. Overall, though we felt the stay was slightly overpriced for what it was, we thoroughly enjoyed the excellent service and our comfortable night there.

NillAugust 2024 visit. From the moment I entered hotel it was a fabulous experience. Greeted warmly by the front desk and the decor was expertly and thoughtfully done. The rooms were immaculate with warm homely touches of towel warmer, fireplace, free snacks, water, his and hers vanity sets. Breakfast the next day was 5 stars. Fresh fruit parfaits were amazing as well as the hot breakfast. Absolutely loved this place. I hope every boutique hotel is like this!

★★★★★Enjoyable 3 day stay here this past week. The hotel is not a chain and as such it has much nicer touches and is quite comfortable. The rooms are nicely appointed, although they could use a dresser, and the beds were very comfortable. Nice breakfast buffet with plenty of selections. I was surprised that they provided water bottles and actually restocked clean towels and made the bed each day! My only issue was with the huge double shower: the floor, although beautiful, is extremely slippery as it's marble and you simply have to use the bamboo mat they provided for basic safety reasons. Otherwise an enjoyable stay and would definitely go there again.

★★★★This is the best place to stay in West Yellowstone. It is adults only, quiet, on the edge of town, and boutique. It included breakfast, and coffee was good and hot. The cooked breakfast should have been better and it wouldn't be hard to train the cook to improve. Just too Hampton Inn ish for a boutique hotel. |Rooms were very good, shower was great, lobby was excellent, and staff was half excellent half mediocre. Several of the staff should have their phones taken away and be trained in customer service while several were 100% attentive. |Overall we like the 1872 and would stay there again.

NillDo yourself a favor and stay here!! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Great location- just on the outskirts of the main part of town but minutes away from shopping, restaurants, and the entrance of Yellowstone. The most comfortable bed of any hotel I have stayed in. Fireplace gave it a cozy feel. Great touches in the bathroom like his and hers toiletries, double shower heads, and a heated towel rack. We didn’t stay for breakfast because we wanted to get to the park early, but hot coffee, pastries, and fruit available when we were heading out. Highly recommend!

NillOutstanding hotel on the quiet end of town. The desk staff at check in were so helpful, showing us to our room, and going through every amenity and light switch in the room. Breakfast was far more than the "light Continental" they indicated. Eggs, bacon, sandwiches, fresh cut fruit, yogurt, pastries etc. We didn't have time to try the fitness room (very small, but it had more than I expected) or the sauna. Truly outstanding and I would stay here again

NillVery cozy and quaint place to stay. Easy waking distance (max 10min) to restaurants and shopping. Was great that breakfast was offered each day, and having tea and coffee available all day was very nice. Sauna was a nice surprise.

★★★★★We stayed here one night on the way to Yellowstone NP. It is very clean and nice but a bit far from the main restaurant/shopping area . I would have preferred a bit closer. They include breakfast which is ok not great. They do give you lots of water bottles which was nice .
