Hampton Inn Grand Island

Positive: Hotel was clean. Just an older hotel but everything worked as expected. Breakfast was lackluster, used powdered eggs but they had the carbs out for sure. I will stay there again. Pleasant staff, coffee was always on, bed was comfortable and clean. Negative: ""

The entire place needs an upgrade. One of the lights in our room didn’t work, there was rust in the chipped tub, furniture is dated and there was a small charging dock that was sticky 🥴 and only allowed for charging on one side of the bed. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t nothing to remove the steam and created water spots on the ceiling. We are diamond members and have always been greeted with 2 bottles of water and asked about a snack-she seemed trained to avoid providing the promotional products. The washer (which smelled of mold) was $5/ load as well as the dryer 😳 The housekeeping staff kept the elevator busy for the better part of the morning! Not a welcoming environment at all.

We stay at Hampton Inn’s frequently and this is probably the worse one we have stayed at. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the staff is super friendly but the rooms themselves are outdated and small. We had 2 queen beds and not much room for anything else in the room. The side door into the hallway from the outside was not secure as you could just pull on it and enter without a keycard. The bathroom fan was filthy. Breakfast was typical. Beds were okay. Pool was non-operational.

Close to the shopping spots. Some rooms come with a hot tub. Somewhat careless staff. Good breakfast but disappointing nighttime snacks (rationed cookies or trail mix). Vending machines seem broken. Broken pool. Not the best views of the city. Three stars and a half, not four.

As usual, the Hampton Inn is a great place to stay. It’s clean, everyone’s friendly, and I really like the Christmas decorations and helps make everything feel comfortable! Quiet rooms and animal friendly!

Built in 2006. Has 8’ ceilings. Normal wear and tear on the building; it was clean. Hard-working front desk employee. Breakfast was typical Hampton Inn fare. Stayed on 3rd floor. Was quiet. Traffic noise isn’t an issue. Didn’t check the pool.

The toilet wasn't cleaned. Urine droplets from the previous occupant underneath the toilet seat. Tube of opened shampoo on the bathtub leaked onto the floor. It's been there awhile because it has dried solid.

This hotel is a super cute hotel! My phone in the room didn't work but it was fine because Ms. Brooklyn at the front desk took it upon herself to walk up to my room to see what I needed. I'm a Front Desk Manager at a Double Tree and I watch out for great service when I visit another hotel. Brooklyn exceeded my expectations. Also, housekeeping did a great job! That was the best-made bed I have ever seen!!
