AVOID AT ALL COSTS - most disgusting building I have ever entered in my life. Bugs crawling all over, caution tape over the entrance, and the smells will make you gag uncontrollably. No one should be subjected to these conditions, absolute health code violation and should be condemned immediately. How this place is allowed to stay open in a city like Lincoln is beyond me. Owner and management should be utterly ashamed.

I really cannot for the life of me understand the reviews giving this hotel anything over 1 star. I rarely write reviews and I am not terribly picky on where I lay my head, but this place takes the cake as the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Rooms were completely disgusting. My dog has better sleeping accommodations. Room obviously had not been cleaned in quite some time. I slept fully clothed and used my backpack as a pillow and no blankets. I seriously contemplated if it was somewhere I wanted to shower. Drug use going on outside the back door. And I'm not talking grass. I got up as early as possible to get the h out of there and there was no front desk employee and the front doors were locked. I ended up having to go out the back door. Absolute disaster. Do yourself a favor and do not believe any of the "good" reviews. Stay elsewhere.

Needing a cheap place to stay for the weekend, this place was by far the cheapest. Although booking on a third party app, I was not informed of the $100 deposit once I arrived to check in. The hotel was going through rebranding, after just being rebranded (from what I was told) so things were a little different. Many rooms had notes on the doors about work that needed done to them, so they are actively fixing the place. The halls and room smelled of cigarette smoke, but not the worst I've experienced. The room was okay, very outdated but it was an inexpensive choice so I'm not complaining. I had no toilet paper or garbage can upon arrival but was quickly remedied at the desk. The fridge didn't work, nor did the TV. No big deal, I wasn't planning on living there. My biggest complaint was stains on the white blankets and sheets. The owner whom I was constantly running into kept politely asking if everything was okay, and if I needed anything. Overall, very outdated and needs quite a bit of work, but for the price, it's not a complaint.

Couldn't book a room the manager was rude , wouldn't give a supervisors contact information. She don't rent to minorities or deal with any of the billing . She hung up on me twice. Was she having a bad day or was she just rude and incompetent? Now nobody is answering the phone for the last hour , maybe a long lunch break I don't know? I'd love to speak to a professional person from this company to better understand this policy . I'll try to call for a while longer before looking for a better place with professional people who know and understand how to speak properly to people.

First of all it's now called Magnuson hotel. Secondly, the worst hotel I've stayed in, in quite some time. People in hallways just hanging out sitting there on phones every few doors, one couple fighting out in said hallway. No smoking in rooms but reeks regardless. Booked online, when I got to the hotel they stated that Priceline had canceled my reservation, which led to me paying cash (and still being charged for the stay by Priceline. -no we never ended up getting a refund) First room was still being cleaned by housekeeping, trash in room/ vacuum left in room, but the from desk lady was sweet and promptly got us another room. Second room upon entry presented a huuuge roach crawling up the wall right next to the bed. At that point we just wanted to leave. This is when we were informed that the lady had already dropped the money and couldn't get into the office to give a refund. So we begrudgingly accepted a third room choice of two beds. Not sure if they were large twins or full sized but either way two people of normal size had a hard time fitting on one. Why not use both? Simple, the other bed had yellow stains on mattress covers and blanket... Appeared as if someone peed the bed and housekeeping just turned up the sheets. Needless to say we slept on our own blankets from our car on top of their blankets and had a very restless night.

Made reservations a week in advance. No sign saying the name of the hotel. Arrived and found that we were the wrong color to stay hear. The receptionist said let me get red of these crackers. The front desk clerk refused service. When we asked for the manager he said he didn't have their phone number. The place looks very run down. Employees' cars were blocking the entrance to the hotel. Then when we tried to find a hotel we were told to leave private property.

They're set up to fail. Booked and prepaid for 2 rooms for family, they arrived but there was nobody here. By nobody I mean they couldn't check in. There was nobody there. Great thing to deal with at 12am after driving all day. Thankfully the place next door was open.
