Hampton Inn Omaha West-Lakeside

Staff were super friendly, breakfast was great and the gym was super nice. However, if you are looking for a hotel with a pool/hot tub, I strongly advise to book elsewhere. The hot tub water was literally brown and had tons of stuff floating in it, it was so nasty I didn’t even use it. The ice from the ice machine was full of black flakes, so I didn’t use the ice either. I’ve attached a picture of the melted ice water. The toilet seat in our room was cracked and the first time I sat on it, it pinched my skin/ cut me. I informed the staff and they said they’d fix it, but it didn’t get fixed during my stay. I did only stay for 2 nights, but wasn’t offered a new room with a useable toilet or anything.. It wasn’t the worst stay, but also wasn’t the greatest for the price.

Our room was clean and comfortable. There could be a couple more side tables in the room for phones/water bottles/etc. to sit by the bed. The pool was busy and extremely noisy since there was a 6th grade girl's BB team staying here for the weekend and it was cold. The hot tub wasn't very hot either but it had good jets to massage a sore back after a long day of travel. We didn't eat breakfast here but it looked like there were many options, including make-your-own waffles. Overall it is a nice hotel and I would stay here again.

Perfect stay. Everything was clean and well kept. Staff could NOT have been any friendlier. Everyone was accommodating and so nice to our kids (even the other guests!). Breakfast had a good set of options and everything was tasty. Lots of other families here too. 10/10 would stay here again and recommend to anyone!!

Short stay, older hotel, most staff were friendly, our favorite part was the big hot tub!! Breakfast was good, just make sure you get your kids down before 9:30 because they won't offer to make more food when it runs out.

The hotel was very nice. It was clean and the beds and pillows very comfy. The breakfast was good and a good variety. Front desk were amazing!! THE only thing was the hot tub was not working, but sounded like they had been trying to get it fixed. Would stay here again if we were back in town.

Nice hotel for a 3 star hotel. Nice clean rooms, customer service was adequate. The breakfast was good and the areas were clean. The gym was very nice and had more then plenty of 3 star hotels we've stayed at. The pool was fine, but it has a good amount of peeling paint and rusted vents. I'm guessing it's from all of the moisture in that room, but cleaning that stuff up would make a big difference.

The sink was super-slow draining, and the shower had gross-looking stains - otherwise, the room seemed okay and felt comfortable enough. All staff I encountered I found helpful and upbeat. But the location turned out to be considerably out of my way - about 11 miles from I-80 in heavy, slow morning traffic.

Great hotel! Excellent service, cleanliness and breakfast. The night manager even fixed our TV up on our late arrival. We really enjoyed every minute of our stay!
