Quality Inn Scottsbluff

I’ve been staying at this motel for years. Just found out it went under new management about a year ago. And the new management threatened to kick us out for having family members over as we always have done before. Never had an issue with this before. Also, during breakfast, I seen an employee warming up a bucket of sausage links in the microwave? Seems pretty unsanitary.

Positive: The Breakfast was the best part of the stay! Negative: The staff was rude, a lady was checking us in and a gentleman came in and was using a demeaning voice towards the lady, he was rude and inconsiderate. You could tell he did not care about being there. The room was outdated and uncomfortable.

I chose this location due to price, rating, and the hot tub, which would have been welcome after flying from Alaska to Denver, then driving 4 hours to Scottsbluff, NE. The employees were professional and the hotel was clean, but it went downhill from there. The first room had a clogged tub and we had to move after unpacking. The second room (room 102) needed a new mattress and the $14 handheld shower head (yes...$14...I had the same model at home before replacing it) was clogged, apparently from hard water, and had a red ring from mildew. A wall in the bathroom had been repaired but not repainted. A piece of metal that looked like a knockout from an electrical box was screwed into the wall in the bathroom to protect it from the doorknob putting a hole in it. It was a hasty fix and looked unprofessional. The hot tub had been out of service for a long time and not expected to be put back in service. The staff was aware of it being advertised. The breakfast was decent, but never varied.

Positive: Price was decent Negative: Incredibly loud. Had numerous construction workers drinking and being loud throughout the night. Neighbor upstairs had children running back and forth most of the night. Room was beside the clerk seat and could hear them clearly in my room

Positive: Our room was clean though there was trouble with plumbing. Had to replace toilet and the tub didn?t drain well. Most of staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast area was nice. Negative: A general lack of professionalism particularly with front desk staff. They seemed competent but think if they could wear logo shirts/slacks to differentiate them from guests and more training would help. Carpet worn/dirty. Pool not good.

I was stay here .its was amazing. The person in the front desk he is very friendly. I definitely staying again such a nice place. The rooms are very clean .

Broken up pavement in parking lot caused me to trip while carrying suitcase...|lobby staff for check in were fairly friendly but slow since we were the only customers there...the hallway and stairs carpeting was disgustingly dirty...very dirty...|glad to get to our room and notice hardwood flooring; bed linens were clean and crisp; well, then we saw the print green upholstered chair and footstool-totally dirty ; if it were mine we'd put it out to garbage; seriously to even look at it made me sick; and I am quite tolerant....since we couldn't find a room for less than $200 and this had adequate reviews, we took a chance....wish we'd paid more and stayed elsewhere...|PS- one good thing, the man who put out the breakfast did a magnificent job; he was so friendly and all; the room was clean; food tasty with hot and cold items...a saving grace for the filthiness elsewhere....I'd skip over this place unless you are desperate.

Beds and pillows felt like sleeping on cloud. Very decent breakfast options before 9am. Reasonably priced and a central location. Walking didst from great restaurants. A mile or so away from a massive Walmart that's sure to have whatever you need. Definitely had a great stay at this place.
