Motel 6 Rochester, NY - Airport

If it wasn't cheap and near the airport I would never stay here. No garbages in room, you have to bring stuff out with you. No fan in the bathroom so it's all moldy. Toilet doesn't flush. Plug ins everywhere to mask smells. Dog hair on our bed because the runner was coated in it. TV didn't work. Looks like the recently repainted but didn't clean what was there before.

“Excellent Stay – Comfortable, Clean, and Friendly” I had a wonderful stay at this motel. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—from a smooth check-in to helpful local recommendations. The location was convenient and peaceful. I’d definitely recommend this motel to anyone looking for comfort and great service at a reasonable price.

Had to stay here for a few weeks and the people are really great here. They're trying to create something good here. Everything i've asked for i Ive gotten with and only have had to re-ask for things like a broom when it wasn't available. Upper Management is great, and Raoul is really involved, and I think that's awesome. They say on the website that they provide a cold breakfast, but that has never been done. They have coffee and tea or hot water all day. I'm currently staying here and we'll update this at the end of my stay but so far so good.

If I could give 0/10 I could, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, the shower curtain had a KNIFE IN THE WALL, the floor had hair dye and pasta sauce all over the carpet and bathroom, the outlets had 3 that worked, the walls were DIRTY with food, feces, and god knows what else, the towels had hair in them and when brought up to the hotel staff they scoffed and asked how dare we need new towels so soon into our stay, housekeeping NEVER knocks on your door, the door barely locks, and you can only have any toiletries every two days, but again, they never knock. Actually correction, they opened and then closed and banged on our door and asked if we were checking out or extending at 9 am after we had extended the afternoon before. Just to be kicked out the next morning saying we didn’t pay. Turned out we did they just didn’t click a button saying we checked back in. Edit to add: We are still staying here til the morning after this was posted, we left to grab something to eat and came back to a ROACH on the bathroom sink. It scurried to quick to get a photo of or kill at all. Another edit: Checked out, told hotel staff to explicitly have the manager or owner call me, he called me a few hours after check out threatening to charge me for smoking in a non smoking room, I was very upset and told him exactly what this review states, and that we were very upset with the room, and he tried to say if we would have contacted him he would’ve switched us rooms, they don’t know why we weren’t put in a renovated room etc and offered if we came back another time he would comp us a room, and that I didn’t need to make a nasty review. No I did need to make a “nasty review” because it’s the condition the hotel was presented to me as, and the staff are abrasive and disrespectful.

Booked this room for a night and wasn't here all of 20 mins before checking out. Dirty dusty room which didn't look like it was cleaned before we arrived. Asked for a non smoking room, and it stunk of cigarette smoke. Found roach poop all over the bathroom, and in the corners of the room. Hotel management will not refund us the room even going as far as to stating we stayed the full night. It's almost unbelievable that they would rather pocket $90 instead of having good customer service. Immediately checked out and went to the best western 3 minutes up the road. Take your business there instead if you are looking for a clean and sanitary room.

The whole place reeked of cigarettes. We got a non smoking room and it still stunk of cigarettes. The furniture and curtains were grimy and there were roaches in the drawers. More roaches came from the corners and I learned that roaches can fly when I tried to kill it. The lobby had never been vacuumed. Like ever. This place is disgusting. If you’re desperate for accommodation in Rochester, sleep in your car and avoid Airport Motel 6 at all costs

Positive: Staff was very nice & helpful. Long term parking very reasonable. Negative: Not clean very rundown. Location a little sketchy.

You really don't want to go there. The rooms are not clean at all. The room I got didn't have heat and it took them 2 hours fix it. Never again will I go there.
