This hotel is great for families. First of all, it is clean. No parent wants to stay somewhere that is dirty with their young children. There is a pool and it’s warm! The beds are comfortable + there are many channels on the tv! The breakfast has many options, especially decent ones for anyone trying to make healthier choices. The cost is great for all that you in and for the location! Check in was quick and easy. We will definitely be visiting again. Thanks so much

it was such a disappointment. i am a frequent traveler and i haven't been treated like this ever before.I checked in around 9:20pm. the room that i got was right in front of the ice making machine. the machine noise was unbearable. so i requested the front desk to switch a room for me or at least unplug the machine during sleep hour. 1. the front line staff was not able to help, as she told me that she was the only staff at the hotel this evening. she told me she didnt know how to stop the machine. She was not willing to go up with me and listen to the machine noise. She offered me some ear plugs. 2. she did not want to find her manager to solve the issue, and she told me the manager could only be found during working hours. she gave me her manager's email to me. thats it. I emailed the manager and followed with 2 other emails. No response of course. Who could answer email on Saturday night? Most useless solution I have been offered.3. she told me she never had other hotel guests complained about the machine noise, as if i was lying to her. all she could do, again, was give me some more ear plugs. 4. She was no able to refund as well, as her manager did not give her such authority. She told me i can email the manager about it. What a sensible solution it is.i was at the hotel lobby front desk area from 9:40 to 11:15pm politely asking her to either refund/ switch the room/ unplug the machine. And she had no solution to all of these. While I was seeking help from Trip.com support team, the front desk supervisor appeared. She was willing to refund for us, and booked another hotel in the same area too. I appreciate the help from the front desk supervisor.I also appreciate Trip.com timely escalation about the issues and contacted the hotel directly. Eventually I left the hotel around 11:30pm, wasted two hours of my precious sleeping time!Would NOT recommend this hotel. —> Poorly trained staff with no sympathy at the first point of contact.—> Weird floor plan design to put a ice machine in front of a guest room without any sound insulation.—> Offering an email and hoping client will suck up the discontent

I recently stayed here during a trek to Rochester to visit family. The hotel’s location is superb—close to downtown, local colleges, many restaurants, and the highway, making it very convenient. The property is clean and quiet, with a well-maintained pool. Breakfast offers a variety of options, including a gluten-free bagel, although the dining area can get a bit crowded. The friendly, helpful staff made my stay even better. I look forward to returning on my next visit.

Overall, it was okay for a few days. ||The gym was clean and quiet. ||The breakfast was fine. Available as of 6 am, this is appreciated. ||The coffee station is nice. I was able to grab hot water for a tea at night (when there was hot water available). ||I had a room facing the front and it was quiet. It was close to the elevator and even so, it was not too noisy. ||The room is not too big and the closet was placed far away from the door. This was odd. Also, there was no luggage rack.||Overall though, it was not the cleanest place. The carpet was not vacuumed (on arrival) and the bathroom floor was dirty (no real excuse, it is a tiny bathroom). The vents and fan grills were dusty in the room and in the hallways. ||Finally, the hallways and elevators smelled. ||It is conveniently located and there is plenty of parking.

Clean, warm, no bugs, lovely breakfast, and overall very comfortable with great amenities... This would be a 5 star review except for one thing: Single ply toilet paper; I would not wish single ply on someone slated for the death penalty. This place goes above and beyond in so many things, but misses on just this one basic necessity. I highly recommend staying here, but I also recommend you bring your own toilet paper when you do.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Rochester NY. The location is very nice and convenient. The lady at check-in reception on Dec 27, 2024 was very polite, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, good variety of food, it got a little busy towards the end time. The indoor heated pool was really nice, water was clean and really warm (perfect temp). There was a temporary issue with heating/climate control in the pool area which made it very cold, however the lady came to check and explained to us the temporary issue. I highly recommend this hotel for stays in Rochester NY.

I was in town for a family event. The hotel was a bit dated and in need of renovation. The room was acceptable but felt very stuffy at night, and the older thermostat was challenging to operate. Additionally, the entry door made a squeaking sound when opening and closing. The shower only provided lukewarm water. I also found the older Hispanic cleaning guy rude, not just to me but to other family members. On a positive note, the hotel is conveniently located near the interstate and close to restaurants and other amenities. The gym needs to be updated. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was nice and hot!
