InterContinental Suites Hotel Cleveland, an IHG Hotel

We've stayed here now twice during visits to Cleveland Clinic and have enjoyed both stays. The rooms are large and comfortable with a fridge and kitchenette as well as a comfortable bed, nice shower, and easy-to-use room darkening curtains. We used the convenient free shuttle from Cleveland Clinic, and found their restaurant to be very accommodating, even approaching closing time. The restaurant staff took great care of us after an exhausting day. We used their valet parking overnight, and they returned our EV to us fully-charged, which saved us money and time.

Wonderful hotel! Incredibly clean, spacious, friendly staff, valet system was very efficient, great room service, and with every amenity you could imagine. Having a child with asthma and allergies, we especially appreciate the room purifier, hypoallergenic bedding, and the other Pure accommodations. We generally have to travel with our own purifier! If in Cleveland again, we will certainly be back!

The bed was so amazingly comfortable!! If I could have fit the mattress in my suitcase, I may have taken it with me :) The staff at the hotel was also very kind and very helpful, they recommended a good area to shop in, we went and had a great time. Thank you to all the hotel staff! Also, thank you to the lady tending bar on the night of 05/01 in the dining room, great service and great conversation!

Stayed at this hotel on a different floor the week before and was very pleased with everything. Room was bright, clean and comfortable. Had a good experience so booked this hotel again when I had to return the next week. Stayed on another floor when I returned this week and it was quite different. Loud furnace, dingy looking furniture, wind whistling through one of the windows - but the worst part was the room was not clean, especially the bathroom. Hairs that I saw on the floor when I first arrived were still there when I checked out. Trash was not completely emptied. Bolt on door was coming off. The bed was comfortable. The front desk, restaurant and valet staff were great. Restaurant is pricey but food was pretty good. Seems like room quality depends on the floor. Overall I was not comfortable in the room and will not want to repeat this experience.

This was my second stay within 30 days because my husband was going to the Cleveland Clinic so basically it was a not for pleasure. I chose the King Junior Suite Allergen Treated room for two nights for a total of $486.68. I should mention like many of the guests, we flew in from Illinois. We arrived after 4 pm so the room was ready. We entered the room and I noticed the purifier, which should be running already, wasn’t—-allergen treated, remember? No biggie, just pressed the button to start it. It turned off maybe after a few minutes. I did again but after the third time, gave up. Later, I noticed the shower curtain was missing——for the shower. The towels, albeit clean, had an odd odor. I mention these things because the room is supposed to be allergen treated. The mini fridge had crumbs from I guess the previous person which means, housekeeping missed that. I had received a text from the hotel asking about my stay so I decided to report this issues. Next morning, I hadn’t received a notice(it was before 8am because we were due at the clinic for 8:15). I also noticed that despite my reservation indicating two ppl, there was only one robe/slipper. Sent another text and was told the person in charge comes in at 8. My husband & I would be gone by then. THEN my husband notices the toilet tank wasn’t filling up in order to flush. That’s when I decided to call corporate who contacted the hotel and got it handled. I will say that the staff was very apologetic and gracious.

Every one was very helpful. The place was clean, and had everything we could ask for available. There was an issue with our selected hotel, but the intercontinental was able to set us up last minute to a room that was more suitable to our needs. We ordered room service and it was excellent and timely. If I ever need to stay in the area again I would definitely recommend it.

I've stayed twice now at this hotel for while coming to the clinic and enjoyed both times! Hotel is very nice, clean and comfy! Staff is friendly and I haven't met a person I didn't like. I hope to not have to come back, but will enjoy the stay if I do!

The front desk staff here will really go above and beyond to take care of your needs and ensure you're as comfortable and satisfied as possible. Tabitha is especially helpful. However, besides the front desk staff the rest of the hotel was very disappointing. One of the valet drivers was very rude, their restaurant service is extremely slow and the food isn't well-cooked, and our room was not in the best condition as there were a few items broken or dysfunctional. We checked out the Holiday Inn next door and it was 10x better - much newer and cheaper. You're better off saving your money and staying at a nicer room at the Holiday Inn next door.
