Rodeway Inn Willamette River

It's one of the lowest priced rooms in the area, that said... it was kinda nasty. Not pictured were blood stains on the bottom side of the mattress. The sheets were heavily pilled, had holes, and stains. The room had a foul smell. The a/c unit was duct taped. The bathroom fan was almost detached from the ceiling. The bath towels had stains on them. It's next to an area that has a homeless camp on the back side of the hotel. But I had no issues with anyone. Noise was surprisingly low. Rooms seemed decently soundproof. Pros: It's cheap. No bedbugs. No ants. Awesome front desk clerk. No deposit. Plenty of parking.

Positive: location Negative: Our room heater would not heat up-only blew cold air. Tried calling front desk from room and the phone mail was full-could not leave a message. Went to office and no one answered the bell.

Stayed here for the weekend. LEFT WITH BED BUG BITES!! The service was terrible, the rooms had a weird smell to them, the bathroom door was extremely messed up and the shower temperature had a mind of it's own. Would not recommend.

Corvallis can be a very busy town with few hotel and Airbnb options during OSU graduation week. Such was the case when my wife and I waited too long to book a hotel when attending our daughter’s graduation. We ended up at the Rodeway Inn…. as the only other option was Salem some 25 miles away. Yes, it’s a dated hotel, yet it served our purpose. There are no onsite amenities, but plenty of restaurant options and activities nearby. The mattress was firm and the pillows were very comfortable, making for the best rest I’ve had in some time. Despite being near the highway, the room was amazingly quiet and the climate control system was fine. We stepped out for breakfast and returned at 10 a.m. to find that the room had been cleaned, new towels provided and beds made. Am I disappointed staying there? Not at all…. in fact on the contrary, it was a nice stay.

Upon check in the manager (?) was very rude. Extremely difficult to hear. Room was okay I guess. Beds are hard as heck and shower...mmm lacked. Poor microwave was melted and fridge rocked. Location was awkward, had to drive around a detour then past motel 8. Probably won't go here again.

Positive: It was available. Negative: It was hideous; barely a step up from a youth hostel. And probably the most expensive room we've ever paid for. (Thanks for the points, though! It made a big difference!)

My brother stayed here. Big complaint was people who apparently live here like to stand out on the porch area and talk clear into the early morning hours. No soundproofing, also very noisy from traffic. Bring earplugs

The price and location are what makes this hotel a good option. The staff were courteous to me and their room was reasonably clean. There are nightlife activities immediately adjacent to the Inn. It is near to the Oregon State University events and not too expensive. They also also border the river and have a great walk/hike through downtown that anyone could enjoy.
