Econo Lodge Corvallis Near University

Sometimes I forget econo means econo. Price is reason why I picked this place and the pictures online appeared to be a little cozier than the reality it. (Remember it’s econo for a reason) so it’s Not bad, but not great either. No coffee at 7:30am. Like seriously, not even a pot in the coffee station. I’m not complaining, plenty of coffee shops nearby, but considering there are many hotels in the same parking lot, may not be a bad idea to shop around before you book the room. I booked for 2 nights. Not exactly my best decision. 1 night was more than enough for me. -Simple, plain and honest review here.

This was my second time staying here. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I stayed two nights and had no issues. I liked that it had a microwave, & refrigerator. I had to work and the desk was convenient. The neighborhood is pretty safe and there is a Trader Joe’s nearby. The older man at the front desk was very friendly to the person in front of me when I checked in, and noticeably passive aggressive with me. Not sure why. I’d chalk it up to a bad evening if he hadn’t have seen him be extra nice to the person in front of me. Other than that second stay was mellow.

paid 280 a night for a bare bones room. It was the only hotel available in Corvallis and it was not worth the cost. No breakfast, no wifi, rooms had a weird smell. Trent at the front desk was eay to work with but anyone else I talked to made things difficult.

I can't speak to the quality of the rooms as we didn't even make it that far, but the listings on booking sites and THEIR OWN WEBSITE is absolute false advertising. It is NOT generally PET FRIENDLY. I have traveled all over the US with my cats and they have literally never caused a single problem. They are less noise, mess, or destruction than most dogs. Lots of hotels are capable of listing as DOG FRIENDLY or noting dogs only clearly on their site. I DOUBLE CHECKED THEIR SITE BEFORE BOOKING and was still turned away at the door. Do better.

Turned away at check-in for having cats even though it says on *their* website they are pet friendly. THEY ARE NOT ACTUALLY PET FRIENDLY. They are only dog friendly. And not only that, but the front desk attendant said I wouldn't be charged for my stay and now they're trying to charge me $600 for a stay *I* couldn't have because *they* have false advertisement. Your company is shady and I am telling everyone I come across to stay away before you steal their money too

Positive: While utilterian, it was amazingly clean. Mattress was excellent; slept extremely well. Temperature control was solid. Maid service was excellent. Front desk staff were all top notch and helpful with suggestions. Highly recommend this hotel. Negative: No. Negative: ""

Stayed in a newly upgraded room very nice. Very clean affordable friendly staff nice location we'll stay again
