Stayed one night while visiting the university of Oregon. Very conventions and close to the university. Room was clean. Stayed in the back building which had interior hallways and a secure entrance which I liked. Rooms had refrigerators and microwave along with coffee machine. Rooms have hard floors and not carpet which I also liked. Plenty of free parking.||Breakfast was also good. I appreciated that hey had breakfast sandwiches that could be heated in the room microwaves or by a microwave on the breakfast area.

The room looked very nice and clean at first, but I slowly noticed odd things. A tissue stuffed in the peephole, rag left in the corner of the shower rail, used complimentary shampoo on the top ledge of the shower. It made me wonder what I would find next and how well the room was cleaned. Regardless, we had a good night's sleep and the breakfast options were the best I've seen at any budget hotel. Cups of oatmeal to add water/milk, granola, microwave breakfast sandwiches that were delicious, bottles of apple juice, orange juice, chocolate almond milk, etc.

Our room appears recently renovated. The room and bathroom were clean, neat, and spacious. Unusual for lodging in any price range where I have stayed, there were outlets and USB charging ports everywhere... And both power and device plugs stayed plugged in. The need was firm and comfortable. The lobby coffee was quite good, and the grab and go breakfast foods were varied and healthy. Desk service was friendly and prompt.

Great place. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice friendly staff. I think they all really like their jobs and co-workers. They offer on the go breakfast with gluten free items as well. Starbucks, Dutch Bros. are near by. There is a burrito bar restaurant in the parking lot of the hotel that offers good food. Right across from Mathew Knight arena and Hayward Field.

I was going to give it 3 stars because the front desk lady is super nice but the more I stay here the worse it gets. It started with a porter potty truck parked in front of my room full of used porter potty liquid, then the shower was meant for children. My fiance at 5’3 has to duck to wash off. Then this morning I found a cockroach. Do not come here. This is a nightmare. We might have to throw away everything we came here with

Location, location, location. They are conveniently located by the UofO campus, across the street from Matthew Knight Arena. Track Town Pizza and Starbucks are adjacent to the hotel, really convenient. Dutch Bros across the street, a Subway sandwich, Korean restaurant and an Indian restaurant all across the street and there also a market nearby and also a selection of fast, casual places on Franklin. We got lucky and were assigned a room in the newer building, which is very nice. The building itself is bright & very modern looking--the building; the rooms are carpet free. The room we were assigned was spacious, double queen-sized beds, with a microwave and a small fridge. The bed was comfortable. Free internet. Continental breakfast is provided--cereals, bagels, fruit, microwave breakfast sandwiches and yogurt. The lobby/breakfast eating area is small with limited seating- 3 small round cafe tables with oversized chairs. It’s a good place to stay. I would definitely come back.

Positive: Fairly clean, very convenient location for access to the Matthew Knight arena and U of O campus. Free breakfast was all prepackaged items, but had a bit more variety to choose from than most budget motels. Negative: ""

I actually stayed here a number of years ago when this was a different hotel, and it is vastly improved over what it used to be. It's an older hotel, so it's still a little rough around the edges even after some remodeling, but I really like the southwest aesthetic and the color schemes used around the complex. Upon check-in, there were fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies available at the front desk, which was a nice treat. The rooms look and feel very spartan but still have all the amenities you'd normally find in a hotel room. You also can't beat the location; it's literally right across the street from Matthew Knight Arena, so it's a perfect place to stay if you're attending a concert or sporting event or visiting a UofO student. I did notice the floor in our room was a little dirty around the base of the bedframe, as if whoever had swept/vacuumed had focused only on the main walking areas. The walls and doors also seemed pretty thin, and any foot traffic in the hallway was incredibly loud--luckily it quieted down overnight. The breakfast is a simple grab-and-go continental style, and while the offering is fairly limited, it's incredibly well presented. There are to-go cups with lids for granola and cereal, paper bags to pack things in, trays to take things back to your room, etc. If you're looking for a full hot breakfast, the Original Pancake House is just down the street and is a great choice.||I'd stay here again next time I'm going to a game at MKA.
