Quality Inn - CLOSED

I would like to share my experience during our recent three-night stay at this hotel. 1) The room had a lingering unpleasant odor that seemed to be coming from the dated carpet and a damp feeling upon entering. 2) The air conditioner was completely clogged with lint and dust hindering its ability to properly work. 3) The cleanliness of the room was not up to the standard we anticipated. It appeared that it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in some time. 4) Stains were noticeable on various surfaces including walls, lamp shades, and bedding. 5) We encountered some challenges with housekeeping as our sheets were not changed and we had to physically request fresh towels. 6) The breakfast offerings were severely limited and could be improved. 7) Wifi did not work as mentioned by another reviewer due to the distance from the main router. I hope that this feedback helps the hotel management address these issues to provide a better experience for future guests. Given the price paid, we were expecting a higher level of service and cleanliness. Do not recommend based on our experience.

Great value for everything! Free pool and breakfast each morning. Staff was always very nice and helpful with anything we needed. I have been to rapid city twice and stayed here both times. Never had any complaints! Sure, it may not be the fanciest hotel, but usually it's one of the cheaper ones in the area. I'm not here to swim, eat breakfast, and sleep in my hotel. I'm here to explore and travel! So this is a great place to do just that.

Quality Inn and Suites in Rapid City is a good place to stay during a vacation. They offer complimentary coffee, breakfast, pool and hot tub amenities and I’m sure more than I can list. The room I stayed in was nice. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was good and the cooling and heating unit worked well. There were a couple employees who were mindlessly rude, but a couple employees who were present and friendly. The lady at the front desk and the man at the breakfast room were extremely nice. The breakfast offered was a good variety ranging from cereal and muffins to waffles and biscuits with gravy. Overall a good place to stay.

Nice place to stay! The room was clean. The pool and hottub were nice and looked well taken care of. Breakfast was good. The lady running it asked if we needed more eggs because they were running low. Parking lot is a bit tight but we just went over to the side and walked around.

This was a really good hotel and I would definitely stay here again. The front desk staff was friendly when I was checking in, there was plenty of free parking in front of the property, and the room was clean and spacious. I didn't face any issues during my stay and the included breakfast was tasty & filling. Would recommend!

Stayed one night with my family. First off, the room and hallways smelled of smoke & mildew. The carpet was dirty, the entire room felt as though it needed to be disinfected. It was pretty nasty. Woke up at 4am to sinus congestion due to the overwhelming smoke residue in the room. The staff was pleasant, but everything else fell short. Needless to say, we won't be staying at this Quality Inn again.

Great location right off the highway. Easy to get to all your attractions. Nice girl that checked us in helped us get the right room for my husband who had 2 knee replacements and a ruptured Achilles. The breakfast was good and very convenient. Rooms were very clean. I would definitely stop there again.

Made reservations and Prepaid for 2 day 2 guest stay to save a little. Big mistake because it is non refundable. Arrived to have no bath towels, & only 2 washcloths. The bedspread had several red stains across it. Housekeeping gave me 3 towels & changed the bedspread. The wifi was not even showing in my room, but the clerk said it was on and working. I could login in the lobby, but lost it in the room. The clerk gave me the password for the Days Inn next door. There was no tray to hold the coffee pack for the coffee maker in the room and only decaf. I asked at the desk, and they did not have the trays or regular coffee. At breakfast, the lobby was out of coffee, and the breakfast room had drip coffee pots that were empty. There was no breakfast meat available, only eggs. Biscuits & gravy, cold cereal & waffles. The ice maker on the 1st floor was out of order. The whirlpool/hot tub listed on the amenities was blocked off with caution tape. There was damage to the outside of the building below our room where a car hit the wall & gutter. The upper section was swinging against the wall in the wind and echoed through the wall. (Like banging wrapping paper tubes together) There are other hotels in the area that are better than this for the rates they charge.
