Travelodge by Wyndham Rapid City

I usually choose to stay here when we have medical overnight reasons to be in Rapid City. This is my fifth time in six years and it was the worst night yet. I choose the place for location to the hospital and food. The hotel is old, but they are doing a good job of trying to renovate and paint to make it look nice. But this time my bedding was clean kudos but it’s like they made the bed and then forgot to do anything else. The countertop was dirty, the shampoo and lotion were half empty . The tables and headboard had something sticky all over them and in the form of a hand print, the floors felt gritty and sticky. The toilet and shower were actually clean. Since the bathroom was clean and the bed had fresh linen on it, I’m going to chalk it up to They got distracted and didn’t finish cleaning the rest of the room, but I honestly can’t come back. It just was so dirty. Room thermostat was broken and had no way to control the heating or air conditioning. The windows were painted shut, but I was actually able to get one open only to have to close it because the neighbor’s next-door were having a marijuana party and it got so thick I couldn’t breathe. Continental breakfast said it was from 6:30 to 8:30 showed up at eight and they just had a couple of muffins and some yogurt not worth the bother. The staff were all nice and friendly.

The Location is great. The rooms are clean and the bed was very comfortable. I like how the property is spread out but also tucked away from the main road. The hotel associates have been very pleasant, professional and accommodating. I enjoyed my 8 day stay here very much.

No, just no. This is a motel not a hotel. It was quiet because no one else was here. Beds were small and dirty. Bathroom was not clean to my standards. The radiators were loud! Even when turned down all the way l. Stuffy and hot at all times. The place looks nothing like the pictures. We had no other choice as there were other events in town. Will not stay here ever again.

This is the best and only place to stay in Rapid City, SD, for sure! Best price, better staff! The room was clean, quiet and cozy. Other hotels over charge and don't treat people with the genuine care the staff here does. No place in Rapid can match the overall quality of this motel!

I recently stayed at travelodge , and I must say it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities you’d expect. The staff and owner were friendly and always ready to help. Plus, the location was quite convenient, with easy access to Rapid City downtown, hospitals, restaurants, casinos, and less than 30 minutes drive to Mount Rushmore. All in all, Travelodge offers great value for money and is a solid choice for budget travelers.

Newly remodeled. Nice upgrade for and older complex. Quiet and affordable. Was there for family in hospital so descent hospital rates. Nice clean and new beds awesome showers. Close to hospital and restaurants. Would recommend to others.

The night view from the balcony, even though chilly, was super, with some hot cocoa. Area was great with food options. Was very convenient and priced right for the occasional last minute trip. We liked that the beds could be moved to make more room. We would definitely encourage others, especially in the warmer months to visit here, snug at the edge of the city.

Very friendly and accommodating the rooms were clean and it's very quiet ...n relaxing also in a very beautiful part ov town. And it's reasonably priced I also was unable to get the jacuzzi sweet due to them being down and so they did change fhe price and did everything they could to accommodate me thank you very much.
