Stayed a night while traveling through and the price was excellent, even with two cats. Beds are decent, though the blankets were a little scratchy. TV is tiny but what do you expect. Comes with a kitchenette which was handy for a quick dinner and an insane value add for the price. We didn't notice any pests and our room didn't smell odd. Parking lot wasn't overcrowded, and the front desk was friendly. Overall, the rooms aren't exactly a 5-star experience but we paid less than $90 for the night including the pet fee and for that I find little to complain about. This hotel seems great for long stays at a budget price. No complimentary breakfast but that wasn't an issue for us. Do note the walls aren't the thickest, so if your neighbor has a loud dog you might lose out on some sleep.

When we arrived we waited about 10 minutes for the front desk attendant. When he finally arrived stood int he doorway and played on this phone and after 2 minutes finally looked up and saw a line of people waiting. When we arrived in our room we found that you couldn't run the lights and the TV at the same time or it would blow the breakers constantly. So you had to either pick lights or TV to be on. Another couple downstairs was trying to locate "clean sheets" as they had also checked in and the sheets in their room were all dirty. Next morning we were awoken by a worker walking into our room waking us up and exclaimed "oh, this room was suppose to be empty" and left. Wasn't the best or best experience - definitely wasn't worth $146 a night.

The room was very clean and the staff helpful. The hotel is close to local attractions and priced well. We stayed over the weekend and the hotel was busy but the staff stayed up on cleaning and making sure we felt comfortable. We will stay here again.

Do not stay at this hotel. It is an extend stay situation. I booked this place not knowing that I was being way overcharged. It normally goes for 71 dollars. I was charged 175. We got into the room and was tired from driving all day. We found a pile of lancets and glucose monitor strips, a pair of underwear and an inhaler. This is a biohazard. The bathroom had several cockroaches. I have tried several times to contact the general manager by phone and messages and no phone call. My sister left a bad review yesterday and the general manager replied to that. Seems like she only responds when a negative review is given. Still no phone call to make this right. I have also shared this information with booking.com so they can remove this property. It’s the disrespect for hard working people who are out here spending money and keeping these places afloat.

excellent rooms and service at a low price. We enjoyed our stay at My Place hotel. We stayed there on the way to Minnesota from Salt Lake City Utah. We liked it so much we stayed there on the way home as well. The people who run the hotel are the friendliest|and the rooms are clean. W loved the refrigerators, microwave, and the stove.

Horrible!!! The sink clogged nearly the ENTIRE duration of our stay. Refrigerator made a obnoxiously loud "jackhammer" like noise when it would kick on to maintain the temperature. We made NUMEROUS notices to the staff about this and yet NOTHING WAS EVER DONE FOR WEEKS!! Then when we asked to be moved to another room, the staff said NO, and also happen to mention in casual conversation that they have never even EMPLOYED A MAINTENANCE PERSON,...... PERIOD, until "just recently". Then we were also told basically to leave and we couldn't extend our stay.... (despite the fact we have been weekly extending our stay for the past several weeks). The reasoned they said we were not allowed to extend the stay was that they were going to be deep cleaning all of the rooms for the L&I event, "Lakota National Invitational". Although this event does not take place for another 2 weeks. Also, while I was waiting in line I seen several people check in so I know that they had the ability to move us into a different room but chose not to and then when confronted with the maintenance issue we basically were shoved off and told will have to check out. I will be looking into whether or not this is legal as this seems completely unprofessional, unethical and a horribly executed plan to evade responsibility for the working order of the room and lack of maintenance personnel. I will definitely be writing the editor of the local newspaper to print an editorial in the Rapid City paper about this horrible experience as Hospitality has been one of the career paths that I have worked in, in my professional work history. I know this is completely unacceptable! Is the situation should change I will edit this review however until then this is the current status.

1)The bathroom floor was dirty as evident by broken black plastic on floor. 2)I was going to make coffee and old coffee grounds were in the coffee pot.. This makes one wonder about the room cleanliness in general. Dissatisfied.
