NillThe hotel was really clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only friendly staff member was a young brunette girl working breakfast. She said hello and asked if we needed anything. Three people at the front desk simply stared around. Not a good morning, acknowledgment and a clear lack of enthusiasm for their work. When I checked in at 9 p.m., the grumpy lady at the desk did not say hello, welcome, or thank you. She simply grumbled and muttered "these people" as someone else entered behind me. Extremely uncomfortable and impolite, as if she were being bothered by customers. Hot tub was down. Breakfast was great. Dog friendly!

NillI booked this hotel online because it ticked all the boxes I wanted for my daughter and I. Fridge, hot tub, animal friendly. However, upon arriving they told me the hot tub was out of order. I was really looking forward to sitting in a hot tub. Had I known this from the online booking I would’ve booked at a different hotel. They didn’t even offer 10% off for the inconvenience. My other problem was that the shower curtain was way too short. So no matter how hard you try the floor is soaking wet. My final problem is the keys. Had to get new keys three different times because they kept loosing the programming. Which they said was due to my phone being near it. Wasn’t true. My phone was in my back pocket. Key was in my front pocket. Made me wonder what was wrong with having normal keys. If people walked away with the key, charge them with changing the lock. At least the key always worked. The good part from the beginning is that they moved me from a second floor room to a bottom floor room right next to the exit so I could easily take my dog out for walk. Little noisier from all the comings and goings but it wasn’t too bad.

NillWe booked a suite as we are a traveling family. When we arrived, they told us they had given our suite to someone else that had wanted to extend their stay and we would have to do two separate rooms. So even though we booked weeks in advance we were inconvenienced to accommodate a last minute change by someone else. Would not recommend counting on getting what you booked.

★★★★★Enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn! As Marriott members, we were upgraded to a two bedroom two bath suite so was nice to have the extra room. A special shout out to Marcia and the other gal (sorry can't remember the name) at the front desk and to Pam and the other gal at the breakfast area, you guys made the stay extra special! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the little extra perks of ice coffee at the beverage area and all of the extra toppings (chocolate chips, craisins, etc) for the waffles which the kids loved!|Definitely will be our go to place when staying in Sioux Falls!

NillThe service from the woman who checked us in was wonderful. She helped us with special parking needs and made dinner suggestions. We stopped just for the night on our road trip and liked the proximity to the hwy and food options. The hotel room was fine for one night. The service is really what was notable about our stay.

NillService as soon as we walked in was very friendly & welcoming. The location of this hotel was very convenient for multiple reasons including shopping, dining as well as gas stations. Room was very spacious, clean and modern looking. My family was incredibly comfortable and safe for our one night stay here to start out our spring break vacation. We'd love to stay here again when visiting this city!
