Hampton Inn Sioux Falls

Was a great location to stay at. One plus ... they close the doors between front desk and dining area as it tends to get very loud with parties drinking and being loud the weekend we were there. Rooms were very quiet. Pool chlorine was very strong ...hard to breathe but was nice to have pool toys for kids to play with.

I came for a one night stay from Minnesota for a football tournament for my son. The entire hotel was so clean and well maintained. The staff was so friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable. Our experience was top-tier. Our room was a little smaller than I expected but it was clean and the bed was so comfy I slept like a baby. I don't remember any names of the front desk staff but they all were amazing. Thank you for making me and my family feel safe and comfortable. Our stay was 9/29-9/20/24 Room 110

Love to stay at this hotel when I have to travel for work and always enjoy my room/stay but the guy working the front desk on 1/6/25 at 10 Am is a complete jerk. I had an issue/question for my reservation and had to call on the phone and when he answered, he was from the get-go a piece of work. He went out of his way to be nasty and mean, and ended up hanging up on me instead of being a grown person and helping me with my issue. Honestly, embarrassing he basically threw a tantrum over the phone. I wish I was able to get his name, but he wouldn’t even give me that so please if you are the management of this establishment do yourself a favor and lose this guy or train them on how to properly speak to a human being instead of acting like a child…. Edit-( I understand there is a 24 hour cancellation policy and I’m totally fine with that and whatever fees that come with it. My issue is that your associate hung up the phone instead of offering any sort of support. To be clear I wasn’t looking for a refund or anything of the sort. I was just asking a question. it was not necessary to just point-blank hang up the phone on me. That’s terrible customer service. Just saying…. Love your hotel, just disappointed in the way things were dealt with.)

Beautifully updated and maintained property. Bathrooms are amazing! I thought it was actually a new hotel. Staff very attentive. I appreciated that the front desk asked if I wanted housekeeping services upon check-in instead of waiting for me to ask for it. Totally out of control, but GPS had a lot of trouble getting me to the address.

All round good hotel. Lots of food in the area and they have a restaurant recommends sheet for you. Only negative is you might get a room closer to the hiway with some noise. But it's not to bad.

Convenient location, but you can hear highway noise even on the “quiet side” of the hotel. Clean room, clean bathroom. Breakfast was good with surprisingly good coffee! The room felt humid, AC likely needs serviced.

It was okay. Honestly, I'd give it a better review had the price been cheaper. But for almost $300/night.... meh. The rooms were soooo small. 2 queen beds and a bathroom. There was a desk chair, but no other kind of comfy chair. Barely any space to spread out at all, and not enough outlets throughout. (Sort of needed in our day and age of electronics) I thought the sink in the bathroom was very poorly designed, and our shower didn't have full pressure. Half the water just poured through the faucet, so you were standing in a small pond by the end of your shower. The fan didn't work in there, either. The breakfast spread seemed pretty good, but I don't eat breakfast, so I can't comment on the taste. Also, they don't come in and give fresh towels daily. Overall, I guess it was fine, it was clean enough. But for the money- I'd expect a little more spacious room for 4 people, or a little more service. A little more something. They've also joined in with the other hotels in having the big bottles of shampoo/conditioner/etc connected to the wall, so you don't even get travel sizes to bring along with you when you leave. I get it, but that was always kind of fun being able to have some small little souvenirs from your hotel when you stay somewhere. Just really disappointed in the amount of money it takes these days for such poor... everything.
