Baymont by Wyndham Sioux Falls North/I-29/Russell St

The room we booked wasn't even clean when we opened up the door, we were given a different room but unfortunately it didn't look any better. At least we THINK the sheets were cleaned. We almost locked ourselves in the bathroom because of how broken the door is. Stains everywhere, residue in the bathroom. Refrigerator was unplugged when we arrived, we plugged it back in and realized it never got cold, so we had to put our food back in the car hoping it would still be good. Found a missing piece of something under the chair maybe a piece of a vacuum? Bunch of dust, cracks, and broken pieces on the wall, and trash was under each of our beds

I am disabled and the shower was broken and I was unable to use it. I called the front desk and talked to Barbara and she told me she had put in a work order and it had not been fixed. Being disabled I was unable to shower. They also put me in a room that was not accessible at first even though I paid extra for the room I needed. Horrible experience.

Very comfortable for a budget hotel. Staff was friendly. Even the housekeepers! Small mistake made on my credit card but it was corrected quickly. Edit. The mistake on the credit card has not been fixed. $290 is still being held from me. The mangaer is dodging my calls. The employees keep telling me I will get my refund tomorrow. Three weeks of tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow. Keep an eye on your charges. I am starting to believe that this over charging wasn't a mistake.

The rooms were quite dated and had a musty odor. The bed had a mattress topper that provided some additional comfort, but it kept slipping off during the night. The breakfast was rather basic, but it was to be expected for the affordable room rate of $75 per night.

Positive: Leaving was the best part. Negative: This is the nastiest place I've ever stayed. I booked it as a one night stopover on my trip. Desk person had NO customerservice skills. The room had a bed shaped like a banana. Paint falling from ceiling, possibly Black Mold in bath, DO NOT STAY HERE.

This hotel is very clean very courteous the manager is awesome has a great staff the housekeeper Heather was amazing and totally respected my privacy I would recommend this place to anyone that needs a nice clean place to stay

It's a nice enough 2 star hotel. The room was clean and the front desk clerk was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. Check in was very easy. There is no elevator so be aware if you book a second floor room. The room did faintly smell of stale cigarette smoke but it's not the end of the world. Overall, for what we paid to stay here it was worth it. If we need a cheap place to stay again we will probably consider coming back.

I wouldn't recommend this place at all, there are better places to stay in the area, this hotel is just mid , like if you're driving long distance and need a place to sleep for one night and back on the road in the morning, it will do.... But if you're in town for a few days expect to hear people yelling outside in the parking lot , in the lobby and halls , expect to find their food service license is expired , there is no coffee ☕ in the room or in the lobby. There is no fitness center, no hot tub and the pool is small and not heated plus they don't keep towels around. Oh expect to have a hand time finding any staff and the ones they do have are just not very helpful they kinda treat you like an inconvenience.
