Best Western Kelly Inn

While planning a trip to visit my HANDICAPPED father and grandkids I specifically looked at pool area to make sure there were lifts so Dad could swim too. I paid 150 per night at this place expecting what I saw in the photos they advertise. The photos below are what I got for my money. And the handicapped lifts DID NOT WORK. I have worked at 2 separate hotel chains I KNOW in order to carry a BRAND such as BEST WESTERN Z there are standards that must be adhered to wonder what BEST WESTERN would have to say about the condition of a property that carries their name. Oh and when I asked where the laundry room was I was told where it was but what they fail to tell me as their only washer was out of order.

Beautiful hotel with lots of cute bears hanging off the outside of the windows. Amazing pool area but chock full of so many screaming kids, we didn't even attempt to go in to use the hot tub. Apparently adult time is 11pm at night, and we don't stay up that late. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Checkout was easy.

Disappointing. The pool is gross and the hot tub felt like a warm bathtub and had a strange odor. The entire hotel has an odor to it. The was no coffee out before breakfast started. Our rooms bathroom had hair on the walls and in the shower. Should have stayed somewhere else. Seems like this place has potential or at one time might have been a great place. It's no longer that.

My kids couldn't stop sneezing. The are in the room on the pool floor are horrible. They allow animals which we aren't ok with and then the air quality is bad because the air is sucked in from the pool area. The hotel needs to be updated.

We were there for a family event. It seemed nice. It started nice. We did early check in and they moved our room from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor wich was awesome... the hall ways smelt like sewer. We had food and junk under our bed from previous people. The toilet was a whole thing too, it didn't flush properly! You couldn't poop in the toilet and flush it! It just spun and spun and spun. Thankfully it had a good exhaust fan. When we brought it to their attention they just offered to move our room again. The pool, my kids had a blast in it but the water had an odd tint to it. The basketball hoop base was broken and looked moldy. I thought the walls felt slimmy but my kids said I was crazy. The hot tub was amazing! The breakfast was ok. Pretty basic but they change the hot foods every day otherwise oatmeal, yogurt, toast, and pancakes.

We stayed here since we were in town for a wedding. First thought was that they didn’t even vacuum the floor/carpet in the room.. then we found a pill on the floor. Clearly they’re not cleaning the rooms well. Glad I found it before our toddler did… But we will definitely not be staying here again. Do not recommend. For $186 a night, this place is a joke.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful at check in. The hallways had an off smell and well as the rooms. We had a poolside room and we were pretty disappointed. There were huge puddles of water all over, which followed into the room causing the carpet to become saturated by the door. There were rarely more than 4-6 towels available in pool area, if any at all. The hot tub smelled very strongly of chemicals. The main pool was hot and had a funny color to it, like the chemicals aren't balanced. Small (baby) pool was freezing. The pool area was overall disappointing with mai ly broken items. We've stayed in the past, and likely will choose another hotel next time. It is outdated and seems like the operator/owner doesn't care for the property/building.

Very nice place to stay. Quiet. We had some trouble with the tv remote and it took about three tries to find one that worked. The desk recommended a nice restaurant. The Kelly Inn does not have an elevator so if you are even slightly handicap, please let them know they will try to accommodate you on the 1st floor. We would stay here again.
