Positive: This hotel was amazing! The room and beds were great. Very clean. The manager was very accomodating. She really went out of her way to make you feel welcome. The breakfast was better than most hotels. They even make specialty coffees and chia lattes. Negative: ""

I did enjoy some what of my stay here it could have been better. I was staying here so that I could go to big bend national park to photograph a comet. As all the other hotels, and lodges were booked out for months. The bed in my room was comfortable, and the shower water was amazing except they could have had shelves for your soaps. Some things could be different in the room the rooms need a little updating. The door to the shower I did not like, because it made it hard to navigate through the hallway leading to the door. Making things very cramped also there we’re no usb charging ports by the night stand. There was an outlet but it was hanging out of the wall. And the fan on the air conditioner wasn’t very powerful my room did keep cool though. The property was very quiet which I did like, and it was located in a good part of town. Another thing I didn’t really like was that in the morning house keeping kept constantly pounding on the doors. I had a long drove at night back to the hotel so I was very tired the next day. Also I was charged for some ridiculous taxes on my room a “city” and “state” tax. What does that have to do with the hotel I stay in ?

Cons; further away from the city center (could be both a good and bad thing), beds were very firm and uncomfortable for side sleepers, bathroom door doesn't close all the way and bounces back when it hits the edge (it's also in a weird placement by the entrance so it felt cramped and small), breakfast was a joke (literally 3 food items and they were all terrible; a couple slices of eggs mixed with potatoes and cheese, tiny muffins tasted dry, overcooked oatmeal with coffee or water), there's also gourmet specialty coffee but the barista/front desk didn't really know what she was doing and the sign isn't well posted (the sign should be posted on the wall to prevent misunderstandings and away from the free breakfast area if you're charging your customers), to get to the hot tub, you had to go inside the building turn on the hot tub and then unlock the garage door and then go into the patio (if you went straight to the patio, the hot tub will not turn on and you cant get into the building), towels at the pool were tiny, no phone to call for service (you had to use your phone to dial out). Pros; pool is indoors, quiet area/hotel, they offer cleaning every 4 days or as requested, blackout curtains, checkin was easy and smooth, lots of parking, two tables in the lounge area to eat with a high top bar.

Loved staying here. Staff was friendly, the interior is wooden and authentic, as well as my room had that same feel and was meticulously clean. The bed was comfortable; there is an indoor pool separate of the building w a hot tub which was cool too. This town is enchanted and worth visiting pre-Big Bend.

Privately owned. Rooms are clean and managed daily, which is currently rear even in most places. Great facilities with swimming pool, fire pit tables and hot jacuzzi. Free parking. Breakfast is modest. I would stay there again.

The staff at Hotel Parker are unmatched! I spent four nights in the hotel with my pup after a car accident in the area and they went above and beyond to make us comfortable as I navigated the crisis. I actually cried tears of gratitude multiple times. It might have been the shock, but I’m pretty sure it was the amazingly kind management, front desk staff, housekeeps, and laundry folks. I am eternally grateful that I landed at Hotel Parker after my accident!

Stunning! Best hotel in all of west Texas. The service is great, the grounds are clean. The views if the twin sisters are spectacular. Great hot tub and wonderful facilities. I am very impressed with this hotel and will always try to stay here. Trust me - its worth the drive and don't try anywhere else!
