Some of their deficiencies are minor such as not including any type of cup for water or for coffee. The 24 hour diner seems to offer only take out service for night time. However the biggest problem I had with this place was being eaten alive by bedbugs in room 119 on 17 April 2024. I have been trying to report this but it appears to be very difficult to get through to anyone other than the reservation service which apparently has no connection to the motel if I am understanding whaat the people there told me. After five phone calls one of which transferred me to three different people I decided it was important to let other potential guests know my experience. I could certainly post photos of the bites but it is disturbing me enough as it is

The check in is neither quick or convenient. The rooms are ok, skimped on towels and pillows. No continental breakfast offered. The location is outside of Alpine just far enough that you need to use the car to go into town. Better options at the same price in town...and better options outside of town at better prices. It is a shame that Wyndhams only product in town is this. I will use my Hilton awards for my future stays in Alpine.

Absolutely the worst hotel if you can call it. There is no front desk to check in. You have to walk across and check in at the diner which that experience in itself is lousy. Parking lot is completely closed off due to asphalt seal. The entire hotel is outdated, the ac barely works. Plus the other people staying they, let's just say that I probably would have been better off sleeping in car at Walmart. Absolutely disgusting, Do Not stay here. For the price, your not saving anything, intact spend little more if you want to rest comfortably.

We stayed at this hotel.|First of all you have to go to the diner next door to register, so odd.|The diner, Penny's had excellent food and service |When we got into our assigned room, it had not been cleaned, bedding piled on bed, garbage in the sink etc |We back across the parking lot to the diner where we were assigned a new room.|Seemed clean when we arrived |Attempted to take a shower and water shot out of the showerhead over the curtain onto the door, floor, and my slippers. Ended up wrapping a hand towel around the showerhead to take a fast shower. Then the drain was very slow draining. To top it off it cost over $100. AND there was no breakfast included, nothing at all.|I would never stay here again

I chose this as it is connected to Wyndham. I will never make that mistake again. Regrettably I didn't read these reviews, as I trusted Wyndham. Being a handicapped female, there was no counter in the handicapped bathroom to set my toothbrush or makeup on. No kleenex. Only 1 roll of toilet paper for a three night stay. No spares! No housekeeping, we had to empty our own trash. There was only 1 waste basket in the room. The toilet wobbled, the shower ran onto the floor. I am only 5'2" and handicapped so had to have help getting into the extremely high off the ground bed. The bed came up to my hips! I will never trust Wyndham again! Yet it was priced like a first class place.

Weird. You check in at a Diner/Restaurant next to the hotel. There is no front desk in the hotel. I arrived at 830pm and the kid at the diner was unable to process my reservation, made via Wyndham site. Hotel is typical no frills. Cautionary note: The building is not locked at night and there is not a desk attendant on site. There is no employee at a desk to prevent anyone from walkin in off the street into the hotel. No one. It spooked me out. The town is not that small or remote. The Diner next door is open 24 hours. If some stranger or troublemaker want to enter the hotel, there is nothing to stop them.

Not the best deal in town but quiet and there's a diner next door. There is no daily room service, you have to call and ask for linens. The entry exit doors don't lock so security isn't great. Had a leak under my bathtub shower leaking into the bathroom floor. The sink counter which is immediately inside the room next to the door is literally falling off the wall. They do not match online prices. Summary, this is not a 100 dollar a night hotel, more like 45 dollar range.

Minor issues with plumbing fixtures being broken, but it did not affect the overall stay. I was able to adjust toilet to stop it from running, showerhead broke but was unable to fix that, just took bath. The majority of clients are railroad crews so I doubt those guys report issues as they don't check out with staff - its's not an issue for me as I'm used to roughing it sometimes. Personally would stay again, might be hard to convience the wife though -
