★★★★★The rooms are clean and incredibly maintained, all areas of the hotel are well staffed and stocked along with a very homey feel even when in a hotel! The folks at the front desk were knowledgeable and incredibly helpful, even when I was coming in off of a late flight the gal who helped me at the counter was a breath of fresh air after a long travel day. ||Downstairs breakfast area is clean and tons of options for all people with distraught restrictions like myself, an omelette bar, and many healthy option in addition to some fun bakery treats (like texas shaped waffles!). ||Really a great experience, will be recommending to friends coming to visit Austin

NillStayed here for one evening in Austin and loved it! Some people questioned my location choice as the area used to be very seedy, but it's going through some nice changes, and I felt perfectly comfortable both day and night. Check in with a smile, my room was very nice and a slight view of their wonderful pool area. Breakfast was excellent and the whole lobby area was very clean. I really liked this place and hope to return someday!

★★★★★This was such a good hotel for a great price. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had no issues with appliances. There was also a lot of street parking close to the hotel so parking in the garage isn’t required. The breakfast was delicious & all the employees were beyond kind. Thank you to Kristen, Svea, & Alexa!

NillWe had a wonderful experience here! The room is cozy and clean. The breakfast is variety and delicious. The best part about the hotel is the customer service from the employees. They are very kind and helpful, especially Svea. Her kindness and enthusiasm for her work is really impressive to us. Thank you for giving us an amazing experience. For sure we will come back soon. Highly recommend staying here.

NillNice location even tho it''s hard to find and right next to a railway line. Rooms are very nice, except from the barn door bathroom door with 1 inch gap all way around which definitely has the potential to ruin the whole vacation. Breakfast is somehow accaptable, but definitely not great. Pretty much everything ... even the warm/hot items are industrially made stuff far from being fresh ... even the scrambled eggs. Everything is low or no fat ... not even getting whole milk for the cereals. (Super tiny) pool which doesn't even have a 'no dogs' rule was around 60f in late March. Probably won't get much warmer even in July. Front desk has no idea of anything and $35 for daily parking a total rip off. Guests with multiple 100lb dogs around. Didn't feel very safe. Housekeeping only done every other day with no toilet paper added and was done at 5pm, right when we came back and then had to wait almost an hour to finish ... and we had left at 10am that day with removed do not disturb sign. Consider this a failed booking. Won't come back for sure.

★★★★★Without question the best Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at out of literally hundreds. Great staff (especially Sonya, Alexa, Felipe, and Svea), larger and nicely appointed rooms (I'll always take a big walk in shower), made to order breakfast tacos, and a location in the cool part of Austin (walking distance to Joe's Bakery no less). I walked all over at night around here and felt not just safe but had plenty of folks say hi as we passed. Really, anything you need (including, of course, an H-E-B) is within a 15 minute walk. Transit nearby will get you to SoCo quickly too. For among the more reasonable rates in Austin, I can't recommend enough.

NillHotel with hotel-operated parking garage next to it. The hotel and rooms themselves are good quality, but the sliding barn doors have to be one of the most astoundingly bad design choices I’ve seen for a hotel bathroom. Giant gap, no lock, and a weak fan gives 0 privacy in these bathrooms. I was also shocked at checkout to see I was charged $38 a night for parking, when on arrival I was quoted at $5 a night. Front desk people are nice, but not the most helpful. Breakfast is the standard fare, but the weekday has an employee making fresh omelets and breakfast burritos by request which is nice. Wouldn’t recommend for the price.
