Americas Best Value Inn Baytown

Our saving grace!! We came to town for a wedding and were double booked for a different hotel and were out of luck. They were easily able to accommodate us with two double rooms and one being ADA. The prices make it even better! The showers and beds were super clean, the a/c was running when we entered and was honestly so awesome to go into a fresh room when coming out of the heat. Easy check in and check out. Would recommend and would definitely stay again when in the area!

Worst service EVER! when I booked the room there was no information on there about a deposit. Now I know that most hotels require one. That’s not the problem here! The problem is that upon arrival to check in they informed me that I have to pay $150 CASH deposit. When I asked why that was not stated on the website she told me “we just need to fix it”. They turned me and my 4 young kids away after I already booked my hotel. Then when asked for the refund for the room they said they had no access to refund me and basically I was shit out of luck!! DONT EVER BOOK HERE.

Stayed there Thursday night on a work trip. Got a double bed and was only given one key, they charge $1 for any extras which makes no sense for a double. The place was overall clean but they can do better. The fridge was not cleaned properly and was full of water/ice and the wood under it is rotting, looked pretty gross. Microwave also needed a better cleaning and the chair had clothes strings on it as if it wasn’t dusted off. They don’t have their a/c on for check in rooms which is terrible in this heat. It was steaming hot when we got in there. There was only coffee when I went to check out, didn’t bother to try it. But sheets and towels were very clean. Probably won’t stay there again if in town.

The rooms were great and the location isn't so bad either. Nice and quiet at night and during the day. I will say that the owners are a bit rude. I stayed there for four days and before I left I cleaned the room and returned their keys and before I left the property they came up to me and accused me of burning up the microwave. I tried to explain to the gentleman that I only used it one time. Then he told me if I wanted to stay there again I would have to pay 55 dollars. I besides that it was a nice quiet stay and no other issues. I won't be going back there because I'm not paying for damages I didn't do.

The room is not too bad. Honestly, what makes this room so good is that it has an amazing shower. Location is not too good, the reason being that it's hard to get out when there is a lot of traffic and sometimes you have to wait up to 10 min. Sadly, breakfast is not available

Perfect gem in the Baview area. Every feature of the room was clean and executed perfect. Awesome kind and friendly customer service from the front desk and employees as well. 10/10 time here.

My husband & I were very pleased with this place. We asked for a quiet spot, & they gave us one. I have never seen or been to a motel that had the outside so clean...that made me feel good...no weeds growing out of cement, no butts, no leaves, no dirt, no scraps of paper...nothing in their lot. Lovely flowers, as well! We stayed 3 days and each day, the service was good. We had plenty of towels...when you don't have what you need, just ask!||I agree with others that the breakfast leaves something to be desired, and the food had to be taken back to your room, as there is NO seating area. However, the cinnamon rolls were TEXAS SIZED...huge! Strictly carbs...but there was fruit 2 of our days, Did not smell smoke at all...felt safe as we were at the back of the motel and noise was limited, even though road is main thorough fare! Staff was always friendly to us and check in and check out was simple, easy and smooth.

Did not mention anything about pets while booking online nor in the signing of room policy until the end where it states “an additional charge of $100 will be added if a pet is found.” The night booking agent didn’t know what to do when I asked him to go ahead and charge me because my service dog would be staying with me. He called his manager three times and then only offered to cancel my room with no charge. The room was nice but the people were not. I do not recommend this place. They now have signs posted in the lobby that say “no pets allowed”
