Grandview Ballroom at Best Western Marina Grand

I met a group of professionals at the Grandview Ballroom on a Wednesday evening after work. The location was beautiful and the decor was nice. There was no music, so it was a quiet place where we could enjoy conversation. Aside from our group, there was one other group and maybe a one or two couples. Good things aside, , they only served alcoholic beverages. People that requested a coke or soda were told that they were saving what they had for mixed drinks. So one individual went down to hotel lobby to get a bottled soda. The other people that were drank water. Those of us that drank only had one drink since we would be driving. I was shocked that a supervisor acting bar employee requested to speak to our groups organizer as we were leaving. Instead of thanking us for our business, She complained that we did not spend enough money. She complained our group was too loud. She complained that we moved a few chairs to accommodate everyone. Basically she was mad that our group chose to spend our Wed evening at her establishment. Her rant really hurt the persons feelings that organized the get together. The waterfront district in Corpus Christi has plenty of other businesses that have nice views that can serve as a gathering spot fir the after work crowd. So I will not recommend this place.

Great view and room was clean... the only down side is that the balcony was sealed off and theirs no rooms that face the oceanfront. Breakfast was perfect.

beautiful hotel in the center of the city. the large, clean room overlooked the sea. on the top floor there is a large room with a breathtaking view where you have breakfast. to try

Room was too cold. Fan only worked on high. We had asked for a room with a tub...which we didn't get.

Best hotel in town for corpus. Not fancy, but gets the job done.
