Texan Hotel

I must say this hotel is a hidden gem. It is super clean with a very attentive and pleasant staff. Me and my wife stayed here for 5 days and had absolutely no complaints.Thanks Texas hotel staff and I pray that you will continue to offer professional service.

A friend and I stayed at this hotel for a few days while staying in Corpus Christi. Initially we were a bit apprehensive because the area didn't look the best. The rooms are actually very nice and decorated very pretty. The rooms are clean and spacious. They are affordable and didn't break the bank. The owners are really kind and respectful. We almost didn't stay because of how run down the area looks. It seems though, that Corpus Christi hasn't done much beautifying in many areas. The location of this hotel was perfect for the few days we were in town for. Would recommend.

Last minute stay this place had rooms for us, other places were booked and expensive. Glad this place was affordable and decent. They are somewhat new. Good customer service. The room was nice, good paint job, flooring, nice lighting indoors and outdoors, beds are comfortable. Only thing is they need a better quality shower curtain and newer bigger towels. The standing shower is neat I enjoyed a hot shower. Some people upstairs were loud. I heard stomping and slamming doors. Overall I got a good night's sleep.

Stayed one night. Reasonably quiet location. Spacious, modern room, vinyl floor. Amenities included coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Comfortable bed and pillows. Desk area with power jacks nearby. Bathroom with everything in working order. Shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water.||Excellent wifi. Easy parking.||Friendly staff; gave me two bottles of water at check-in.||The only negatives were the broken ice machine and the extremely soft water, which made rinsing very difficult.

I had a great experience staying here. The beds are comfortable, the room is clean. I must point out that the parking lot is very well lit, makes you feel more secure. The area is quiet, that's always a plus. My only complaint would be about the water pressure in the shower. There is hardly enough pressure. Other than that, I would recommend staying here.

I stayed here the first week of July 2022 after the 4th. It was perfect. Seriously. The man at the front desk (I can't remember his name) was really patient with me and very caring. That's a huge deal to me. First impressions are everything. The room was perfect too. The AC was already on and running (I got to Corpus Christi around 2am. It was extremely humid and the air was really sticky) so the room was at a very comfortable temperature. The beds were perfect. Not too hard. Pillows were nice, clean and soft. No sign of bed bugs, roaches or anything like that. The bathrooms were extra clean! They also monitor parking, so that is a good thing too. This motel is literally down the street from the Selena Museum, so for those of you who are big on Selena (this guy definitely is!), it's the perfect location! And the rates were pretty good as well. There are some decent food places too. I like the coziness of it. Whenever I come back to Corpus Christi, the Texan Hotel is definitely no. 1 on my list of places to stay! Good ok rooms.owner , He really seems like he wasn't in the mood to check anyone in and said no visitors not even family and they have cameras everywhere like even right at your door..I would have left but I had already paid for the room. Next time I'll wait to pay.

Coming from out of town you just hope you book a nice room. Especially when not familiar with area. Hands down I picked a good place. Pulled up, looked nice on the outside. Check in with no hassle with calling prior and putting room on hold with credit card. Love how the parking lot is right in front of all rooms to see. Walked in room and WOW!!! It was nice. The bedding, colors of the room, the restroom perfect size and just cozy. The price was a good deal for my budget. When going back I will be booking here again.
