★★★★My husband travels quite a bit for work so we don’t stray too far from our typical name brand hotel to make sure we earn our points, but this was worth the change up. V Boutique Hotel only has 8 rooms and sits atop a Vietnamese restaurant. The view is just the street below but the location is great. We took Lime scooters and went to several places right around town. We stayed in a suite and it was worth it. The room was large with three sections (bigger than our typical suite size) and a large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean and well done. There is plenty of room to have an air mattress or three and still be comfortable. The staff is very polite and helpful! We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

NillThese pictures don't do this place justice. It's clean and pretty unique. Bathroom is bigger than most hotels and even offer a wall dispenser with shampoo, conditioner and soap if you need it. Fold out sleeper sofa and comfort of small kitchenette(not pictured)offers coffee maker/coffee and microwave and small fridge. 2 TVs, and small things like tissues, paper plates and paper towels and nice hand soap. It's above a nice Vietnamese restaurant that many people frequent. We never went in as we were there for college graduation stuff, but it smelled amazing. Centrally located in downtown nearby bars and restaurants too.

★★★★★Family and friends rented four rooms for two nights in order to attend our son's winging at the Naval Air Station. The location was a straight shot to the base and we had everything we needed within walking distance downtown. All the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was amazing from reservations to check-out. Parking was free. The Vietnamese restaurant on the ground floor was delicious and moderately priced.

NillAwesome experience. There are only 8 rooms in this hotel, so there is minimal noise and interruptions from other guests. The rooms reminded me much more of an actual bedroom/bathroom at a mansion instead of cookie-cutter rooms at the big chain hotels. Make sure you take in a meal at the elegant Vietnamese restaurant downstairs. Excellent food.

NillSo glad I gave this hotel a try! It is small, only 8 rooms with well appointed rooms. The location is convenient to the waterfront and the hotel district area. It is located on the 2nd floor of a building and not easily recognizable. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom amenities were high end. I always appreciate lime verbena soap scents! The bed was comfortable. You can walk to many places from this location. Great location for business travelers. I will go back!

★★★★I am led to believe the "V" is closing at the end of the month. Still it was a wonderful getaway place one block from the seawall boardwalk. The hotel sits above a Vietnamese restaurant and only has 8 rooms. It was well-maintained. The room was a tad small with a queen bed kind of dominating the space. No view except to the street below, but hey we weren't there to stay in the room. Bathroom was large. I think what made it special were the two young women who manned the front desk. They were personable, helpful and just downright thoughtful. I would stay again, but I do believe I am accurate in my statement that it is closing. Very easy walking to the marina, bars and restaurants.

NillVery nice boutique hotel. Small but homey. I liked that it was pet friendly!! So the whole family was able to be there. Room was very clean and neat. All normal amenities were there. We arrived very late at night so the parking was a little weird due to it being above a restaurant. But safe nonetheless. Great overall stay. A little above what I would usually want to pay, but since it was pet friendly, it was worth it.

★★★★★This hotel occupies the second floor of a building whose former use is difficult to determine (perhaps a bank?). It is above a Vietnamese restaurant and below something called the Crystal room. It has something like 8 rooms total and a very small exercise area. The front desk staff also serve as room-cleaning details. The hotel and rooms are small and very charming, with a very modern, contemporary feel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very quiet, even with a yappy dog down the hall we were undisturbed. All the views are of other buildings. It is one block from the bay front and in easy walking distance to a number of nice restaurants and bars. Overall, though, downtown Corpus Christi is a little rough around the edges. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
