Super 8 by Wyndham Corpus Christi

After check in, went to check out the two rooms. The smell was the first thing I noticed, mildew, mold something wasn't right. Second thing I noticed was a reddish brown stain on one of the beds. The carpet was nasty and the ac unit on the wall was falling off. I then went to the next room, no stain on the bed but the smell and cleanliness of the room was pretty much the same as the first. Went to the front to get a refund and go somewhere else. Paul at the front said he was willing to do a full refund but because we used booking.com we needed to contact them first. After booking attempted to get him to agree to a refund, he denied it at first then only agreed to a partial refund, luckily booking.com helped us out.

My son and daughter in law love the pillows. They were very comfortable. Everyone there are very polite and nice. I loved that the breakfast was still open after 10 am so my son, daughter in law and grandson could get breakfast. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on.

The room was filthy, there was urine all over the base of the toilet. There with porcelain or something flaking off the bottom of the tub, would be very easy to scratch your feet. Bathroom door knob was broken.The pool was green and evidently had been that way for some time. It was loud from drunks outside, and I definitely did not feel safe. I only stayed one night even though I had reservations for 4. I wish it had been refundable. The only good thing I can say is Tammy at the front desk is real nice and they had an excellent Mexican food restaurant across the street.

Fight broke out while checking in. Bugs, rooms in very poor condition. The phone didn't work. No coffee machine in room-but had filters and coffee... a lot of loitering going on around hotel. 0 stars.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Dirty room. Dirty sheets. Hair and wrinkled and crumbs/ flakes clearly visible but the cleaning person kept telling me was ?clean?Don?t be fooled by the pretty pictures in the listing.. totally different from what you see

when I booked the room the pictures where nice and the room looked very nice. When I arrived at 11:15pm from 10hr drive the room smelled musty and the AC was not working, the floors were dirty, the shower was dirty, there was fresh blood on the curtains the lamb shades were dirty and smashed it look like a crime scene in there, the door didn’t had a latch to lock the door. It look like the comforters have not been changed since George Bush senior was in office it was bad. After talking to the office they let me see another room which the bathroom had a lot of mold and roaches crawling on the wall, when I was opening the door a roach felt down in my hand ewww, of course I screamed. The sheets were dirty and stained and there was poop smeared on the walls. I left to find another hotel. $100 for this kind of room is NOT ACEPTABLE. I went to Springhill suite paid a little more but it was way more BETTER and comfortable. Don’t book here look somewhere else. If I was able to leave a 0 star I would.

The room was dirty!! No clean towels! The towels were stained, it was apparent they had not put clean towels in the room!! The floors were dirty and stained. It was obvious that the room had not been cleaned. It seemed like the bed was the only thing made. There was Flys in the room as well. Don't be flood by the photos online... for the price you will pay just find a different hotel.
