Red Roof Inn Corpus Christi North - Near Downtown

The rooms are not cleaned properly. There was a moist spot on one of the beds, and it smelled like human urine. They give you 30 minutes to change rooms, but we did not notice this until we were about to sleep at the end of the day. The smell and moisture were concealed under the blankets. Another thing was that there was leakage in the bathtub, so once you stepped out, there'd be pools of water on the floor. The bathroom walls were also lined with pink mold. The price is alright, but it's just not worth it when there's biohazardous fluids in the bed and overall a lack of basic maintenance. What's the point of coming to a hotel if you're just going to end up sleeping on the floor?

The staff was nice and polite. However, I had a hard time even getting to sleep because I was worried about what was going to come out of the 4 foot long gap in the ceiling over the bed with huge chunks of hanging paint. Also had a problem every time I went outside with being approached for money and cigarettes.

I only stay here when I come in from out of town. The staff makes sure your stay is comfortable and as pleasant they can possibly offer, all at an affordable rate.

The location of the Inn was convenient to an event I attended downtown, with a short drive. The room itself needs a bit of updating. The light switch cover was missing. The bath tub and shower plumbing need to be replaced. The overflow cover was missing. The room was clean and everything else worked. The price we received on the Internet was outstanding.

Rooms were good for the price, I'm not picky just some details of the room could be improved. Ac was leaking but I get it with this texas heat so didn't mind! Just needed a safe clean place to get us through the night and that's what it did. Front desk service was nice.

The rooms don't get MOPPED that good and they have to HIRE SOMEONE who knows how to CLEAN THE ROOMS CORRECTLY,....... Other than that it's not that BAD

I was nervous at first due to so many One star ratings, but I actually didn’t have any problem staying here. It was very affordable an outdoor pool and the rooms were nicer than some of Other hotels we have stay at in corpus for the same price bed wasn’t super hard, but the pillows are super soft, so may need a few extra. Comforter was soft not the rough material. good location. Dogs are allowed. Stayed two nights and they actually did clean in between nights. Employees do walk around throughout the day so I didn’t feel so unsafe. Would stay again.

Over the years, we've found Red Roof Inns to be a good option when traveling. Not this time! This hotel was very disappointing. The drive in to the lobby was blocked by a car and yellow tape, it looked like a mechanic was working on it. Walking to the room gave me a sense of what was to come. Dark and dirty with damage to many of the windows. The parking lot had some really sketchy people. That said, the room was filthy. I skipped a shower to avoid being in that bathroom...ugh. we slept a few hours, then got the hell out of there.
