NillVery positive experience. Check-in was simple, the clerk was wonderful! Room was impeccably clean, Everything in the building is well marked, very easy to find. No noise from other rooms, and they WERE occupied. Plenty of complementary goodies, and lots of late night munchies downstairs (for a price.) Couldn't have asked for a better visit. Highly recommend.

NillI wish I got the gentleman's name, but it was the evening on Feb 22nd. He was kind, understanding, and listened to me rant about the other stupid hotel that burned me. He set me up in a fantastic room within my budget, and I was so grateful. The people here are so kind, and they stop and listen to you and actually seem to care. The room was very clean and had a lot of great accommodations. The breakfast didn't suck at all. If you're looking for a room in the area and this one is on the list, just go for it. I was not disappointed. I would definitely stay here again and again. A++ would reccomend!!

NillThis location will defraud you. Toilet did not work in reserved premium room. They promised me they were holding the same room type on another floor (we had left for the evening). Upon return, the front desk had no idea and said they had sold out of the premium room type but they would put us in a basic room and then move us the next day once a premium room became available. When I pointed out that is not what I paid for, he just shrugged his shoulders and said I could have the room with no working toilet or the inferior room. They planned to charge me for the premium room without providing it. Not Marriott standards at all. I am reporting it as fraud because that is what it is.

NillOne of my TVs did not work. There was one balls all behind the TV where it plugged in at the assistant manager is very rude when it comes to dealing with customers she needs to find a different job besides customer service one of the rooms also smell like pee. This is the worst Marriott property that I’ve ever stayed at and I love the Marriott. I am a lifetime member, but I would never stay here again and don’t recommend no one staying here.

NillI booked a $202 room for my baby girls 4th birthday. Before i got there i called and asked how much is the security deposit she told me $25 so when I got there to check in and the rude young lady Makayla i believe her name was at the front desk that was very unprofessional from the start took my information then went on to say the security deposit for Locals is $250 😒 so i went on to explain that she told me something different over the phone and she basically said well we can refund you which will take a few days i asked to speak to the assistant manager Aaron she told me the same thing Nowhere on my receipt or on the website states the deposit is $250 Saying all this to say the customer service is horrible on top of that i was expected to pay basically $452 dollars for a 1 night stay and even after explaining i was told something different and that i have a car full of kids expecting to swim they did not try to help or accommodate me in anyway Very disappointed

NillI recently stayed at the TownePlace Suites in DeSoto, Dallas, Texas, from January 2–4, 2025, and had a very disappointing experience. At check-in, I requested a shower chair due to my disability but was told none were available. When I expressed my concern, the front desk staff dismissively said, “Well, it looks like you don’t want to stay here. About 20 minutes later, after I mentioned I’d contact corporate, I received a call saying they had found a shower chair. Additionally, I moved from a two-bedroom suite (room 202) to a smaller room (room 205) on January 3 since I no longer needed the extra space. However, I was not told I would still be charged for the larger room. When I raised the issue, the staff member said she was “new” and nothing could be done. To make matters worse, the hallways reeked of marijuana on Friday night, which added to the overall unpleasantness of my stay. I will not stay here again. The dismissive attitude, lack of accessibility accommodations, overcharge, and overall environment were incredibly frustrating. As a long-time Marriott customer, I expect much better and hope the hotel addresses these issues for future guests.
