★★★I’m not really sure how to rate this hotel because there were both positives and negatives during my stay. On the good side, the beds were soft and clean, which made for a comfortable sleep. However, there were several issues that made the experience frustrating. I requested a late check-out, but despite that, housekeeping came in three different times. Later, I found out the front desk never put my request in the system. This is the second hotel I’ve stayed at with the same issue, which was disappointing. To add to that, the towels were not in the best condition—one of them had hair on it, and the tub was stopped up, which was inconvenient. Overall, the stay had its moments, but with these repeated issues, I’m not sure I’d return unless improvements are made.

NillExtremely noisy!!!! Major I-10 construction going on beside the hotel. Bring noise cancellation headphones if you plan on staying here. Lastly, all the highway exits are closed off by the hotel.. so you have to travel about 4-5 miles around to get into the parking lot. Rooms are very nice if you can get past the noise..

★★★★★The hotel & staff went above & beyond for our running club conference. Our room (5101) was spacious & we found the king bed was very comfortable. AC and heat worked great. Room was very clean and housekeeping came by daily. Would definitely come back when in El Paso.

NillLooks nice. Rooms are a good size. Don’t pay for an included breakfast package. You are very limited on your choices. Better to spend the money on what you want. Staff has been great. Hot tub is out of order.

★Hotel was oversold. Room was old and smelled. Room flooded, nice maintenance man tried to help. Manager rude, inappropriate, refused to help. Hotel across the street much nicer and better value. Holiday Inn Sunland Park El Paso is the worst Hotel ever. I am a frequent traveler to several countries. Hands down, terrible management and price. Manager is rude and nasty, unprofessional, and he smelled awful.

★I would not stay at this location again. I had a two day stay and my card key seemed to expire after the first day . The front desk reactivated it quickly. When I got back to the room, the room had not been made up. I called the front desk and was told the maid service was every other day. How was I supposed to know this? I was not informed at check in I didn’t see that in any brochure. The layout of the “villas” is like walking through a maze. One has to figure out what section you’re in. It’s so confusing they are giving out maps at check in. Then you have to figure out which stairway to utilize. If you choose the wrong stairway you have to navigate the maze.

★Hot & cold water are plumbed backwards, there was no hot water in the shower in the morning. I eventually got not cold water after letting it run 10 or more minutes. Staff gave us access to another room to shower thankfully. Room TV didn’t work (no or weak wifi signal). Room was on I-10 side of building & loud. Heater was loud too so a relief from traffic noise all night. No lights in parking lot or in walk ways between buildings & it was a little scary walking in the dark looking for the new room to shower in. Our breakfast was complementary because the restaurant was closed when we arrived. Actually breakfast was good and all experience with staff was good. They really tried to help, there was just too much wrong to overcome.

NillWe were recently there for our hash meeting and as always it didn't disappoint. Management was super cool, security was professional and firm. We wanted the pool opened later but I guess rules are rules. Thank you to all their staff.
