Motel 6 El Paso, TX - Southeast

Worst motel I've ever stayed at. Everything inside this place is old and outdated from the TVs to the furniture! I was given a room where there's a ton of water damage on the ceiling. I wouldn't be surprised if there were mold. One of the legs on my bed was broken, so I had to sleep on the very edge of the bed, so not roll off. And to add insult to injury, I decided to buy a beverage from the vending machine. And lo and behold, the vending machine did not dispense the beverage i paid for. I tried getting assistance from the front desk, but the one guy there made absolutely no effort in resolving the issue!!!! Every question i brought up to potentially help with my situation, he shot down with an excuse. If you've read this far and still made the decision to book this motel, I warn you DO NOT use the elevator. It is a hazard and will break down on you one day.

Updating my review, we ended up not staying here and were STILL CHARGED and never refunded over a year later! Staff pressured us into rating 5 stars to save their ratings on Google. One room had a boot print on the middle of the sheets, other looked dirty as well around the mattress with crumbs and what looked like blood along the bottom sheet. The people loitering outside made you feel very uncomfortable and usafe.

I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel looks nothing like the online website, Graffiti on walls and elevator ! Prostitutes and junkies in the hotel being loud An Smell of Drugs throughout the hallways!! When entering our hotel room, it was very trashy DIRT ON THE FLOOR Along with other objects, No towels , toilet paper, refrigerator or microwave Inside the room!! The Restroom mirror was falling off the wall!! TV was on the desk so I could not work in the area! The air conditioner didn’t work, there were no buttons, nor a face cover there were wires showing from out of the air conditioner!! Tried calling front desk the Phone did not work at all! So I went back downstairs to inform the front desk lady to move us different rooms , I was denied from changing room. So I asked for a Refund, I was denied on a refund as well! So I said something has to give or I’ll be calling bbb an corporate on this Place of business she told us that they will replace the AC put a microwave and refrigerator in the room && mind you that I paid for 7days!! I just wanted my money back because it’s not worth the stay!! We basically just had to make the best out of it … we cleaned the room ourselves, Then after 3rd day of stay we were told that they were completely out of toilet paper for the ENTIRE HOTEL that I would have to talk with the manager on duty, manager didn’t help at all. Said I need to call the owner.!!! please ask to see the room before paying !!! I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I did!!!

It was very dirty, toilet seat screw was off ( desk clerk did find another screw), toilet kept running, had to shake handle a lot, ( desk clerk also said he couldn’t fix running toilet. ) Towels hadn’t been washed in a very long time and were not very white! Sheets looked like they had not been washed in the one bed and stained- glad there were 2 beds. We asked for another room , he ( the desk clerk) said all the other rooms were worse than the one he gave us! WOW!! Had we not been so exhausted from driving, we would have looked for another hotel, we COULDN’T drive anymore!!! Won’t be staying there ever again! Motel 6 should be way better than that. Yes, they are cheap, but you can be cheap and still clean and in working order! I accidentally left my personal pillow, we laughed and said “ they will probably use it in one of the rooms” - ugh!

Never in my life have I stayed at a place so dirty and run down. I was afraid to sit on the toilet seat and was afraid to be barefoot in the room and in the shower. I also really hope I didn't get bed bugs. There are no amenities at all....no tissues, no toilet paper, no soap, no washcloths or hand towels (only bath towels), no bed lamps, no trash cans. There was so much hair in the shower drain. Missing light bulbs. Painter's tape on the walls. Yes it's cheap, but just pay the extra money and sleep soundly in a clean room! It is pet friendly. The walls are thin and you can hear dogs barking, people coughing and talking. Staff was friendly.

So we had issues with our water in our house and we decided to spend the night in a hotel. Trying to save a buck, I booked this hotel. I knew I wouldn't be getting the most extravagant experience, but wow. $60 a night was a rip off. To be clear, I didn't end up staying here. First as we drove up, we were immediately concerned by a really creepy guy pacing back and forth outside the hotel just watching cars park. As we walked in to the hotel, it seemed fine at first, but when we started walking down the hallways, we couldn't help but notice the smell of cigarette smoke and urine. There was also black mold all over the ceiling. The carpets were full of stains and looked disgusting. When we walked into the room, our concerns were only heightened the room itself looked even more disgusting. We were still going to try to tough it out, but we noticed there were no plugs by the beds which was a big deal breaker because both myself and my wife sleep with cpaps. At this point we went down to the front and asked for a refund. They told us to call tomorrow and ask for the manager and that they would process our refund. So I called the next day, manager was not in and I was told they would leave a message for her. They told me to call again on another day. Same story. 2 weeks and several calls later, I still have not spoken to a manager or gotten my refund. I feel as though I've been scammed. I will never consider staying at a Motel 6 ever again no matter how low the price is and I would encourage others to do the same.

Had to get a room change a little run down some dude was with hookers in the next room playing the LOUDEST music like all night so I had to call and let them know so staff could quiet them down. But overall good. I got motel 6 because they’re pet friendly and I wanted to bring my kitties. Overall u get what you paid for not bad for a quick weekend

Agree with the past reviews. Front staff friendly but for $84 a night yall cpuld do better! no toilet paper in the restroom, hair everywhere not only in the restroom but in the beds and bedsheets, it was nasty. Not clean at all. Says no smoking but i could smell smoke and bedding and restroom had smoke burns.
