Residence Inn El Paso

I stayed here two nights in March with my wife and three kids, bookending a road trip; so one Sunday night and one Saturday a week later. We stayed in a two bedroom suite both times. The room was fine and was clean and comfortable. Staff was OK but not particularly welcoming or helpful. On the Sunday morning when I woke up I used the mens restroom in the lobby but it had no toilet paper and the tissue box was empty as well. Luckily I noticed before I used it so I went into the womens room and got some. Clearly, the bathroom had not been serviced for at least a day. I never saw anyone at the front desk on Sunday morning. The location is very convenient for the airport, though, and nothing that happened would keep me from staying again, but Marriott standards are lacking a bit here.

I have to leave a review of this place, Residence Inn in El Paso is an excellent place to stay while traveling. The hotel staff is so helpful, the rooms are spacious and accommodating. But what I really love, is the breakfast it is all fresh and excellent food. Alma is such an amazing and gracious cook and staff member. This is an excellent choice!

I have been a Titanium Elite Marriott member for years and stay in Marriott hotels on average about 10 nights per month. This particular hotel is probably my favorite. The rooms are perfect for my needs and the location is too. I also wanted to say that Mayriann Carrasquillo, Guest Service Clerk and Night Auditor here at Residence Inn El Paso is the most helpful and friendly Marriott employee I have ever met. It is obvious she takes great pride in doing her job.

I had my daughter’s 20th Birthday here in one of the 2 bedroom suites and it was more gorgeous than we could have ever imagined. There was two bedrooms along with the living that had a sofa sleeper which was more than enough room for us to all stay over. The whole reason was for the Indoor Pool. Staff member named Crystal was very helpful in making sure we got to swim before the night was up. Breakfast was on point. And we were able to enjoy ourselves without anyone complaining about the noise. I highly recommend and will definitely go back

I travel a lot from my job and stay out of hotels about 200 days a year I highly suggest staying at this hotel. Have the receptionist Mireya really helped me out if I had any issues she's very pleasant. The breakfasts were pretty damn good at this hotel in the beds were very comfortable.

Unexpected Charges Made My Stay Stressful I recently booked a one-night stay at the Residence Inn through Priceline for $170, but I was shocked to find two additional holds on my account—one for $180 and another for $340. While I understand that hotels often place holds for incidentals, this was excessive and unexpected. As a traveler, having access to funds is crucial, and these holds put me in an uncomfortable position, especially since I was not informed about them at the time of booking or check-in. What if I had needed those funds during my trip? The stay itself may have been fine, but this experience overshadowed it. Transparency about charges and holds is essential. Unfortunately, this lack of communication left me disappointed and unlikely to book here again.

I checked into this hotel on 11/4/24, I am a Titanium Elite member. The first room i was given had a bad odor and so I was put into the hearing impaired room and told that i could switch to another room the next day. This hotel is right next to the expressway, so i requested a room away from the expressway and a corner room, I was told that i would be able to switch to room 200, and that they would reserve that room for me. They had me move my things out of the hearing impaired room the next morning. When i came back later to check back into room 200, it had been given away, and i was given a room facing the expressway and i can hear every single car passing by. This room is very noisy. When i asked why i didn't get the room that was supposedly held for me, there was no answer. It is almost impossible to get a good night's rest with a room right next to the expressway. I would NOT recommend this hotel if you need a good night's rest. Also, there was no reason to lie to me and promise me a room that was not held for me as promised. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Been staying here for 10+ years when coming to EP to visit family. Hotel had gotten pretty run down. When we arrived this latest time in Oct 2024, the trash from previous guest had not been removed from our room, and overall room was just dirty. That said, service was good, breakfast was excellent for our family for four including two under 3, and we paid $86 so can't really complain!
