Stanton House | El Paso Downtown

Very nice hotel, rooms and staff. We booked this hotel for a staycation and a night away from the kids. With that being said, if you’re looking for a quiet night away, this is not the hotel for that. There was music that vibrated the room the entirety of my stay, including when I opened my eyes at 8 am. The music from downstairs was so loud it carried through the room and hallways. There was not a moment of silence in this hotel.

I had a fantastic overnight stay at Stanton House located in downtown El Paso! The hotel is gorgeous and modern with an impressive collection of contemporary art on the mezzanine level. In addition, the front desk staff are supremely considerate and helpful. Valet parling is a nice touch if you happen to have a car. The hotel is generous with its complimentary in suite amenities, and my room was so spacious! My daughter and I had a lovely dinner at the hotel bar in the evening and a delicious breakfast at the Taft-Diaz in the morning. I recommend the Rojas Con Queso for breakfast. The mushroom quesadillo did not disappoint either!

Once a year my husband and I do a staycation at this hotel. We love the rooms and the service is great. We get to go for a walk in downtown and walk back to the room. They offer valet service so no worries about having to look for parking. 100% recommend this place.

Was an overall okay stay. The rooms were very nice, clean, spacious. Customer service was alright. We were told since it was so busy there would be no early check in and we could check in at 3. We arrived after 3 and still had to wait an additional 30 minutes to get to our room. The valet is pricy and unreliable. We often had to wait to get our car and to have them take it away. Unfortunately this was our only parking option. When it was finally time to enjoy our room and watch tv, we plugged in our amazon Fire Stick and nothing worked. After 15 minutes of troubleshooting ourselves, we asked customer service to help us. He was friendly, but told us our best option would be to write a letter to the owner... but that would not help us in our current stay. He also got a little snippy and told us we should've brought a laptop (we had 2) and both tried all the different streaming apps to ChromeCast it to our tv. We eventually figured it out and we were able to watch our shows. Overall the experience was fine.

Stay was amazing, yet billed incorrectly, overcharged! Requested copy of the folio and noticed someone reviewed charges and identified overcharge amount, tried to fix it, just emailed copy of the folio and tried to process a refund. Been waiting several days for refund yet not received. Called the hotel to try and resolve the situation yet dealt with an employee not very friendly, no customer service skills, not the receive/interaction I am accustomed to with boutique hotels. Very unpleasant Experience!

Visited this hotel as I was walking by. The design is just so cool. The ambiance. The decor. The furniture. EVERYTHING speaks quality. And the owner/manager welcoming…friendly… he toured me around and it is just georgeous hotel. I cannot believe this establishment is in town!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰FINALLY El Paso is coming along. Coming from West Los Angeles and Cabo San Lucas Mexico. This place is 1000 stars!! 😎

The room was clean and the hotel was chic and modern. The front desk associates and valet were unprofessional. My boyfriend and I checked in at about 1am and were the only people in the lobby, so I don’t know why the female receptionist was acting annoyed and rude- you’re not even busy. Then, we saw our car being driven into the back lot about 10 minutes later and the valet driver took TENS of photos with the car, leaving it running with the door open for several minutes while he propped his phone up and posed with it. He only stopped taking pictures and posing with our car when he noticed us looking at him from our room. This was extremely unprofessional and made us wonder if he drove the car further than to the lot. The front desk associates in the morning said “I’m not sure if he took it for a joy ride”. Absolutely wild that they can’t say for certain… Will never be returning. Picture shows valet driver propping phone up and taking photo.

We had a great stay at Stanton House — great room, welcoming bar, wonderful amenities and convenient location. The two guys working the front desk and the valet on the night of December 7th were some of the kindest and most helpful employees I've ever met! I hope to return to El Paso and the Stanton House soon. Thank you, Stanton House!
