Baymont by Wyndham Fort Stockton

NATALIE at the front desk was one of the sweetest people. So pleasant and willing to help. Very friendly and accommodating. The only reason for the 3 star room rating is only because the doors were filthy...there were fingerprints and some red staining from what looked like juice. The chair in the room was filled with dirt and trash (a sucker stick) but it was otherwise clean...all tabletop surfaces were clean, the bed linens and towels were great. Just some residual dirt left by others that I feel housekeeping should not have missed upon the former occupiers checkout. A good value overall.

For the price I didn't expect luxury but I did expect basic cleanliness. Unfortunately I didn't get even that. The hotel is quite run down and needs maintenance. For example the towel bar on the bathroom had been pulled out and not replaced-- and the gaping holes were left in the wall. And the housekeeping was quite lacking as well. The bathroom floor had hair on it, there were bugs in the shower, the dresser drawers had garbage in them, and a dirty towel was left in a cabinet. For just a place to sleep, I could have let all that slide. But it was the multiple hairs on the bed sheets that I just couldn't overlook. The very nice desk clerk tried but didn't have another room, so she did at least get us all bedding. After all that, the bed was actually quite comfortable, but I won't stay there again.

Very Friendly staff. Comfortable room and clean and bed was comfortable. Appeared to be recently remodeled. Room had large refrigerator and microwave . Breakfast was good. Quiet area and parking area had good lighting | We would stay here again if in the area.

The lady at the counter was friendly and attentive. The room was clean and smelled fabulous. My husband complained, but the bathtub had mold and they left things from the other guest. I don't want to look bad by commenting. It's because they should pay more attention to the people who clean the rooms. Thank you.

Looks like they're remodeling. Getting someone to the front desk took a while. I called out and a bell rang when I walked in. It wasn't until I called on the phone that someone came. Maybe put a bell at the desk.||The room was large, lots of counter space and cabinets. There was a microwave and the fridge small but regular size fridge with freezer instead of the tiny mini fridges you usually see in rooms, which was great. The only negatives were that the toilet handle was broken and the downstairs ice maker wasn't working. My husband and I both have autoimmune conditions and are in our 60's so kind of difficult to walk up the stairs to another one. ||The breakfast wasn't much but the breads were fresh. The zero sugar/calorie mango water/juice was out. It was the only sugar free option as the other beverages were juice. Bottled water would have been nice. Mini waffle maker was good but only margarine not butter. I haven't eaten margarine in many years. ||The bed was very comfortable which we appreciated as our old bones are picky about beds. The location is right off the freeway. It was on our route so it was convenient. I didn't notice any freeway noise which was good.||The price was good for what we got. I'd stay here again.

Very friendly front desk lady... Room very clean and smell very good... The only problem is loud noise if you have room downstairs from up room neighbor, recommended to go upstairs more quiet.. otherwise everything excellent !!

Nicely renovated rooms, good size, excellent value. Our experience would have been better if the floors were mopped, but other than that very clean. Gotta love the Texas shaped waffles! Pet fees: $20 for a dog, $10 for a cat, 2 pets max.

Good location. Right off the 10 Freeway and Walmart. The room is spacious. I like the full size fridge. I like the microwave. The pool is filled in with sand, and the fencing there had exposed nails. The flooring in the room was so very dirty. There was a pebble on the floor. It did not appear to been swept at all! I had to clean the floor 3 times and it was still dirty. We said we will bring a wet Swiffer The next time we travel. The toilet wasn't cleaned. Wished there was an ice bucket. Would have been nice to have 4 towels, as the room is advertised for 4 people, but only has 2 towels. The curtain bracket was off and no one bothered to fix it. The top of the fridge was not dusted off. This room definitely did not meet Wyndham's standards! The cleaning crew definitely need to have more attention to details.
