The stay was fantastic! We spent three nights here, and the experience exceeded our expectations given the price we paid. The breakfast was excellent, especially the pork and egg croissant sandwich—it was absolutely amazing! The pancakes were also delicious and hearty enough to fuel us for the entire day.||||The rooms were clean, and housekeeping tidied up while we were out. We chose this hotel as a base for visiting Big Bend National Park. Although it was a bit far from the park, we thoroughly enjoyed the scenic drives over the two days. This was the most affordable accommodation we could find, and to our surprise, it turned out to be a very pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great budget hotel in a good location. The hotel seems newly built (or re-modeled). It's not small with a fitness center and pool. The bed is comfortable and and the room is clean. Breakfast is free with many choices, we were happy to stay there.

This was a nice halfway stop from CA to LA. No carpet, nice kitchen and breakfast options. I found the bed a little too hard and my room had something beeping all night that I couldn't find. Maybe because the smoke detector was ripped out the wall. Other than that it was a great stay for a night with a dog.

Came in around 10 pm. Had a great checkin. The room was very large and comfortable. The room was nicely updated, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. This was an excellent value, and will definitely stay here again. Breakfast was good, and the pancake sausage egg sandwich was delicious.

Worst experience ever, I've stayed in this place before and have never had issues except this last time. Obviously we're never coming back to this location or any Wyndham hotels due to this very ugly incident we had with the manager of this specific location. Previous employees have usually greeted me in a friendly manner and made me feel welcomed but were not there this time, we checked in Sat, 08/31/24 and both employees that were there that day, I've never seen before. After checking in, I went into my room and waited for the rest of my family members to finish unloading our luggage in front of the hotel main entrance by carport, it was raining and we didn't want to get wet or get our belongings wet either so we thought it was fine to do that right after checking in and I've also been told in the past by other friendly employees that it was completely okay for me to unload my belongings through the main entrance and then move my car, but this time it was different. My sister came inside very distressed, angry, sad, upset and briefly told me what had happened how this unprofessional, rude woman who failed to identify herself and approached her with a nasty attitude when she was unloading her belongings. My sister is the sweetest she doesn't like any type of confrontational situations unless she absolutely has to face them and I'm the opposite, I stand up for myself and my loved ones, so I immediately went out to see who this rude woman was and all she said was "I'm the manager" I demanded a cancellation on my reservation and refund, instead of doing that for me she began to yell at us and argue, and yelled at my sister "Did you tell her? What did you tell her?!" So I raised my voiced at her "If you don't give me my refund I will call the police!" She got even angrier and began walking towards the computer yelling at us "get out of here, I don't want you here" I was like excuse me, we're the ones that want to leave asap from here. I demanded proof of my refund because I wasn't getting a notification, I assume due to bad weather/signal so she said you guys can take a picture of the computer screen as proof, but when she saw my sister with her phone facing towards her by the computer she began yelling again "Are you recording me? You can't record me, it's illegal, I can press charges on you!" I was like oh my God this woman is so unprofessional and rude. I demanded for her to call the police because I wanted for this ugly incident to be reported and she said something like this "oh okay you want to go that route, okay you want to see, it'll go bad for you but not for me" I yelled at her to not be threatening me, she said "you can leave, I have your information here and your car information, I'll talk to them (police)" I could barely understand her sometimes because of her accent. I couldn't believe her behavior, she seemed very comfortable with her entitlement as the manager and getting into a verbal altercation with customers like if it was nothing to her, it almost seems like she's done this before plenty of times. When I asked for her name she didn't give it to me, but I thank Fort Stockton PD for showing up, their advice and for accompanying me to check our room to see if there was no more of our belongings left behind, they were very nice. Since she failed to identify herself, and didn't have name tag either, I'll give a brief description of her, she's about 5 ft. tall, skinny, shoulder length dark hair, and is not Hispanic, Black or White, she looked like from India I believe. If you do plan to stay here, avoid getting on her bad side because she will not have a problem with being rude to you and then will want to call the police and play victim or threaten you with whatever pops to her mind. Wyndham hotels should assist her in getting retrained on customer service skills to treat customers in a kind manner, in order to continue having this location in good standing in the hospitality business or fired. The place is already falling apart, there are other hotels in the area that are probably better than this one.
