Lotus Inn

Please do NOT come here. Your better off down the street at the Victorian Inn or else where. Lady at the front desk is SUPER RUDE. Very very poor customer service. Its like she hates her job. This is literally the only hotel that does not provide daily prices over the phone. Spend your money somewhere else they clearly dont care about business.

The only thing they get a star for is ,the parking lot is fairly well lit in most areas. If you book online through a booking-app/site. You get a lower rate. $50ish. However they will tell you that they will not rent to you anymore. The clerk? / owner? / manager? Stated that she wouldn’t rent us the room anymore. In the morning take all your things, when you leave. When asked why. She said, she wanted to rent the room to someone else. There were no incidents during my stay here. There are a lot of vacant rooms to rent to someone else. $$$$ The room isn’t a nice room, but it did keep me out of the freezing storms that are hitting the South Texas area. Freezing temps rain sleet and high winds.. I have to work so I don’t know if I will even be able to find another room. So the $50 deal wasn’t worth being put out in the middle of a storm and possibly having to sleep in my car. 1/09/2025. Happy New Year

The Room smelled very musty . The top cover blanket had cigarette burns the bathroom walls had mold . The interior of the door looked like it was busted and the lock wasn't secure enough.

This place is absolutely amazing. Coming out from a divorce with no place to go, I run a business in the local area as well.. I was able to find this place at an affordable price. The manager is extremely nice and welcoming. The rooms are clean daily, it's extremely extremely quiet even though it's by the freeway. You can't hear any activities from the neighboring rooms. The air smells fresh. Overall it's 10/10 for these types of hotels if you know what I mean.

My experience here at this hotel has been nothing but the best. Rooms are cleaned daily they exterminate once a month it is very quiet and safe. The cleaning crew are very friendly and very good at what they do and the management is very friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend this place.

Jacked up price on us after hurricane. Told me that he would charge me less the following Day if I chose to re-rent the room. Which I told them I probably will. We had no other choice at the time. Everybody else was full. We were told we had until noon to check out even though check out time is 11am. By 11am, we.got a knock on our door , but before we had a chance to answer the door, someone opened the door with a key and asked us to leave. We were still laying in bed with our night clothes on. I told the gentleman who asked us to leave, they we were going to pay for another night. He told me that the room has already been reserved. I then told him that I specifically told the gentleman who checked us in, that depending on if my home had electricity or not, we more than likely need to stay another night and please dont rent the room put behind us. And that's when he said, it was fine and said he would charge us less tomorrow. But this other gentleman that kicked us out , told me that the owner of the motel, also owns a construction business and all his workers are coming into town and needs a place to stay. So he asked that everyone who is checked In, needs to check out. Just like that. No notice to even his own employees. Our phones were not working and there wasn't wifi, so we spent half the day driving around until we found another place to stay. Part 2

The room had lots of water by the front window above the window AC. Kept getting my feet wet every time I would check on my car And the bed mattress OHMYGOD I could feel all the springs on my back..I guess you get what you pay for.
