I had the pleasure of staying here each week for over 5 months. The staff here was amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. If I had an issue they resolved it. The cleanliness of the hotel was pretty good out of the 5 months and a different room each stay I may have had an issue twice and I was either moved or some one was there in minutes to address the issue. Will definitely be my go to whenever I am in the Houston area again.

**60+ Night Diamond Member**|I have been trying to find a regular hotel to stay at in Houston that checks all the boxes of my business travels. This year, my son started traveling with me on sales trips as my sales rep and brought a new dynamic to rooms. This hotel has large enough rooms for the both of us to not feel constricted. The two beds, couch and kitchenette was great space for the both of us to relax, sleep, and work. I will say that the water pressure was very low if you like a great shower in your room...but always hot.|The gym was great and spacious. Cable machines, free weights, and treadmills are always a requirement for me. The water was always full and cold - you'd be surprised how many hotels leave the water dry and get annoyed with you ask to refill. The pool was a nice touch to relax in the late afternoon sun after fighting Houston traffic and meetings. The parking was a bit of a surprise and challenge at first, but once you sign up it checks in you and out as your pass through the gate. ||I would definitely stay here again. It's also a points bonus member if your a Southwest Rapid Rewards member looking for additional points for your Companion Pass.

They’ve done a great job transforming the old hotel into a fresh, new-contemporary hotel. The rooms were clean and minimalistic, yet comfortable. Good views of the Galleria on one side and the freeway on the other-so you’ll hear the noise all night long (I think it helped put me to sleep tho so I’m not complaining).

Overall, this is a decent hotel for families with pets which I greatly appreciate. However, I didn’t particularly care for the water stains on the furniture in my room nor the old smell. For the price, I think those things should be taken care of before offering room to new hotel guests. Interestingly enough, the lobby area smelled great. I also didn’t care for the parking situation. We were charged each time we left and returned to the hotel. A flat rate would work better for me. Aside from that, it was an ok stay.

This hotel is really practical for everyone. Rooms: the rooms are spacious and have useful utilities, the bathroom is big and the shower has nice water pressure. The mirrors have lighting which is perfect to get ready. The beds are comfortable and seem clean, the rug is soft and pretty, the room feels cozy and minimalistic. The view is pretty nice and the TV has many channels. Service: The service may be the only thing that the hotel lacks, the front desk almost always had only one person there, the housekeeping department was a bit rude sometimes, however I understand. Overall for the price and the quality of the hotel I would say that it is amazing and a good choice for Houston, moreover the location is centered (close to the galleria and the medical area)

Travelers beware! Hotel is a great location but it’s more trouble than it’s worth.||Stayed at the Chifley Hotel in March and requested that parking be added to my bill at check-in. Evan, the front desk manager, assured me it would be handled. A month later, I received two separate bills from the parking company totaling over $200.||Since then, I’ve contacted Chifley three times and Hilton customer service three times—via phone, chat, and their online form. Hilton attempted to connect me to the hotel, but I was placed on hold indefinitely with no return to the call. It’s clear no one wants to take accountability. I have screenshots showing that I requested parking be added.||To make matters worse, someone from the hotel called me without leaving a voicemail. When I called back 20 minutes later, the front desk refused to give me the general manager’s name and said the manager was in a meeting. When I explained that someone from the hotel had just called me, the front desk agent claimed she didn’t know who it was and still refused to provide the general manager’s name.||I believe this hotel is intentionally avoiding resolving billing issues to pass excessive charges from the parking company onto guests. I strongly encourage others dealing with the same situation to escalate their complaint to the Better Business Bureau.||The location may be ideal, but who wants to deal with a $200+ surprise parking bill after they get home? I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Extremely poor service. I am an Amex platinum card holder and I choose this hotel because it was a tapestry collection which seems to be high end brand within Hilton hotels but I regret staying here. First after booking on Hilton honors app they posted a charge as advance purchase which made it ineligible for the Amex offer. Next as Hilton gold member I had a $15 food+beverage credit per night they charged me for a purchase that I never did and applied the credit to that rather than the food bill I actually had. So added a charge for market which never happened and denied to apply that credit to the food bill even after confirming on the day of purchase with the hotel staff. No willingness to fix the problem either, didn’t expect such poor customer service from an high end brand like tapestry by Hilton. Avoid at all costs, there are lot better hotels around the area.

We have been staying in various Hilton properties and The Chifley Houston is the worst hotel we have ever stayed as a Hilton Honors member. The hotel and our room were clean, but the road noise was so horrible that I couldn't go to sleep until after 2am. We were expecting to get an upgrade to the holiday room since they are available and that we are a Diamond Member (as advised by the Hilton honors' rep over the phone) but the hotel is asking $75 for an upgrade which we declined. The clerk also did not greet us at check in which never happened to us at another Hilton property. We could feel the unprofessional environment at the reception area. This hotel is also not suitable for ppl with kids as it's designed to entertain young ppl who want a party environment. The music is very loud at the lobby with rap music. I tried to give a review thru the hotel website but were not offer a link to do the survey. We did not complaint at the hotel but we witnessed another lady complaining about the property at the reception while we're checking out of the hotel. So I think you will enjoy your stay at this hotel if you are a party goer and wanted to drink and listen to a loud music at the hotel. Bring your white noise machine to help you go to sleep.
