★★★★★We had a great stay at the Hilton on Post Oak. This was my second time staying here as a fly out to Houston once a month for medical treatment for one week at a time previously, I have been staying at Airbnb‘s however, I like staying at this Hilton so much more the Brittany bar downstairs has delicious food and a nice vibe, there is a convenient store that is open until 8 PM that has coffee and all kinds of goodies. The people that work at this hotel are also nice. We had an amazing room that was right off of the pool and a view of the beautiful Houston sky, which I was able to capture a cool picture of lightning one night! My husband enjoyed using the gym every morning as well as swimming laps in the pool. Having to be away from my two year old daughter, it was hard but staying at this really nice hotel made it not so bad. Oh and the hair salon on site is really cool. I went to get my bangs cut by Angel the owner and he’s an angel. I’ve already made reservations to come back in two months Anuj at the front desk, made that very easy and helped us. Looking forward to coming back. Thank you guys for the good time pictures provided.

NillOkay, we are giving this hotel a 5 star! Price reasonable for quality. The entire staff we encountered were helpful and nice. Very clean, comfy rooms. Very nice lobby, Starbucks, Brittany Bar ( nice place to grab a drink, but not typical pricing for a hotel bar). There is valet parking, but also self-parking with electric car charging with in & out privileges. Lots of restaurants nearby (try Balboa Surf Club - amazing!) area is Uptown, near River Oaks (great shopping areas). Traffic is heavy… worse than Chicago! Would stay here again.

NillThis is a very nice hotel in a great location. Parking options are valet or self park in the garage. I chose self park and was pleasantly surprised to see the parking garage is connected to the hotel lobby. Had it been raining outside I wouldn’t have been inconvenienced. The staff I interacted with are very friendly and polite. I was stuck after checking in because a fellow guest parked in the passing lane out front. The valet attendant politely waved the driver out of the way when she saw I was blocked in. The front desk attendant was quick to greet me and was pleasant. The room is nice and, well, roomy. I could tell it’s not brand new but the carpets are in great shape and the decor and bedding and towels and etc are in top shape. Very comfortable bed and blankets. I had a variety of pillow firmness available which is nice. The hot water came out quickly and hot from the taps. Breakfast was a paid experience on the ground floor. Standard pricing for the area, so it’s not for the weak of heart. It was delicious and the staff are very attentive. The amenities and decor on the ground floor are quite nice. I’ll stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

NillDid a staycation for our 10 year anniversary. Stayed on the top floor. View wasn't as nice as I was expecting though. Just a parking lot. It was nice, however there was a wedding going on so we had to listen to people screaming and yelling until 11:00PM the first night next to our room. Despite this, we had a good time. The service was great. We ordered room service the first night. Ate in the bar the second night and watched some march madness. Breakfast was fresh. All around good experience. And there was always a super long wait for the elevators despite the fact that there are 5 elevators.

★★★★★Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and one minor issue in the room was taken care of immediately following a request made to the front desk. Our very competent server Edison made breakfast a special treat.

NillSending my appreciation towards to the front desk team!!! And the restaurant team!!! They are extremely helpful and kind, with lots great and fun characters. Specially the restaurant staff Geogrio. He is so kind and so focus on his job, trying his best to serve the guests making us feeling to be at home first the first step walking inside the restaurant. Thank you the hilton management making this hotel soooo special.

NillA Masterclass in How Not to Run a Hotel If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to pay good money for the privilege of being disrespected, disgusted, and delayed, the Hilton Houston Post Oak is the place for you. After a five-hour flight, I arrived at 9:45 PM — you know, a completely unreasonable time when absolutely no one could possibly expect their prepaid hotel room to be ready. Silly me! Instead, I got to sit in the lobby for 45 glorious minutes while the staff offered up robotic, meaningless apologies and handed me a drink voucher, as if a free watered-down cocktail could somehow erase the sheer incompetence. Then proceeded to gaslight me about how lucky I am to have even received a room because they are oversold! Apparently they are now taking customer service training from the airlines! Finally, when I made it up to my room (and by “made it,” I mean waited another 5 minutes for the one working elevator, because apparently maintaining basic functionality is optional here), I was rewarded with the full Post Oak experience: • Mascara-smeared pillows (because who doesn’t love sleeping on someone else’s makeup?) • Linens that clearly hadn’t been changed (eco-friendly or just gross — you decide!) • Cracked, grimy tiles that scream “luxury penitentiary” more than “Hilton property.” The whole place feels like it’s clinging to life support, and Hilton corporate must be either asleep at the wheel or just too embarrassed to admit this hotel still exists. If you’re looking for a hotel that will waste your time, test your immune system, and remind you that standards are officially dead, congratulations — you’ve found it. 🤮 🤮 🤮
