★★★★★Overall warm and helpful staff, rooms were cozy. Location is great right next to galleria Breakfast could have had a bit more options, but was good nonetheless. ||||Room amenities are decent, and sizes are great for 2, even 3 people. Recommend to someone looking for a great hotel near Galleria or the Convention centre.

NillThis was our 4th trip to Houston to the robotics World Championship and this hotel was by far our best hotel yet! Ms Queenie and the entire staff were amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They adjusted breakfast times to accomodate us and the other teams staying there that needed to leave earlier than the normal breakfast starting time and had a great selection of hot and cold items as well as fresh fruit. The grounds, lobby, elevators, hallways, and the public restrooms in the lobby were always very clean. The rooms were clean and very spacious and I felt secure in the fact that you need a key card to access room floors on the elevator. We had a conference room where I was able to feed 3 teams evening meals while we stayed. I personally didnt venture out but here were restaurants and shopping within walking distance if I would have needed to. If we make our way to world's again, we will definitely be seeking out accommodations at this hotel!

★★★★★Hyatt never disappoints, and this brand-new location takes it to the next level. The hotel is perfectly situated right next to the Galleria, making it an ideal spot for shopping and dining. For the price, it’s an incredible value—four-star rates with a five-star experience. The property is modern, clean, and beautifully designed. The staff is exceptionally friendly and professional. I highly recommend checking in later in the day to be greeted by Israel—he goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of perfect. I’ll definitely be back!

★★I recently stayed at Hyatt Place Houston/Galleria from April 24 to 28, and while there were a few positive moments, my overall experience was quite disappointing.||||On the positive side, my very late-night check-in was handled smoothly and efficiently. I appreciated the professionalism of the front desk representative who kindly assured me that my booking—split between points and paid nights—would be managed seamlessly without any issues.||||Unfortunately, the stay itself revealed several areas of concern, particularly around cleanliness and service. Upon waking up the first morning, I found the room in an unacceptable state: crumbs, threads, plastic debris, a fingernail, a booger with hair, and a partially opened pill packet in the bathroom. Due to a packed schedule, I didn’t have the time to request a room change, and given the state of the room, I chose to keep the “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door throughout the stay. That said, a housekeeper still knocked once and immediately opened the door despite the sign, catching me undressed just after entering the shower. This lack of respect for guest privacy was shocking and deeply uncomfortable.||||The overall atmosphere on the 7th floor also felt below Hyatt standards, with a persistent smell of marijuana in the hallway and cleaning staff loudly speaking and shouting in Spanish during working hours, which was disruptive and unprofessional.||||Breakfast was standard for a 3-star hotel, but could benefit from better organization: unlabeled food items, slow replenishment, and a lack of fresh fruits and beverages left the experience underwhelming.||||Another inconvenience was that my key cards stopped working midway through the stay, twice. Both times I had to visit the front desk and re-explain my booking and prove my check-in, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.||||Financially, the experience added confusion. Although I prepaid $432.79 for the entire stay as per the reservation terms, I was later charged additional amounts totaling nearly $178. After raising the issue, I received differing explanations from staff, followed by assurances that the charges were voided. This whole process was stressful and unclear.||||Finally, checkout was disappointing. I initially received an incomplete invoice and had to ask several times to receive a proper breakdown. One staff member, Crystal, was particularly unprofessional and dismissive, making the end of my stay feel even more frustrating.||||I’ve stayed at many different Hotels including Hyatt properties over the years, and this experience unfortunately fell short of the brand’s usual standards. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues around housekeeping, guest privacy, front desk professionalism, and billing accuracy.

★★★★★We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Hyatt Place Galleria! Queenie and her entire team went above and beyond to make our group feel welcome and supported during our stay. From the moment we arrived, their hospitality was warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating.||||They made sure we had everything we needed — from coordinating early breakfast so our team could be ready for competition days, to handling package and delivery pickups, and fulfilling our room amenity requests without a hitch. Queenie ensured every detail was taken care of, and it truly made a difference during such a busy and important week.||||The level of care and service we received made it feel like a home away from home. We’re so grateful and highly recommend this hotel and their exceptional team!

★★★★★The hotel accommodations and all employees were amazing. The rooms were comfortable, designed well meeting my needs for a short business visit. GM was extremely welcoming and provided meeting rooms with coffee and drinks, with a smile. My company will be holding all its future meetings in this location.

NillHonestly we have been staying with them for years now. We have no complaints. Almost all the staff members are great. But recently we stayed again and we met this awesome manager named Queenie. She is just a bundle of joy and makes sure ALL guests are satisfied. The hotel itself is a 10/10 for cleanliness and working order. The prices are also not bad. So if you are looking for somewhere close to the galleria, a clean and proper hotel, and perfect customer service. This is my top recommendation. Shout out to Ms.Queenie especially!
