NillWith all the recent negative reviews, I feel I should share the experience of a recent booking for 35 Uni students. Firstly, our original travel date was delayed by 4 days due to our flight being cancelled. Eunice simply transferred our booking without any issue - a wonderfully generous and appreciated gesture. The Rooms were large and clean, beds were comfy, shower was great. Pretty perfect for us. The staff scrambled to get breakfast ready for us before our 0615 coach departure the next day, 45 mins earlier than usual. Another really appreciated gesture. All in all, recommended.

★★★★★Positive: The location was great and the rooms were nice. Hotel employee was great at the front desk. He was friendly and patient as I was having problems with my bank. Thank you, Hotel employee for being an awesome person. Negative: The pictures show a hot tub and that's what I look for in a hotel. I was very disappointed that the hot tub was cemented in. That's a reason that will make me think twice before coming back.

NillBesides the consistency of Marriott’s and the convenient location, the overall customer service and restaurant Silk Road were the highlights. What a hidden treasure! I was expecting to eat chips, candy bars, and soda, but instead had a five star Asian dinner at Silk Road. One of the hotel staff Devin recommended the Chow Fun and it did not disappoint. I’ll definitely be dining here again during my stay!

★★★Standard Courtyard with normal room layout and amenities. Good location for the Galleria and restaurants. Looses points due to lack of supervision come the weekend. I know it’s the parents but staff needed to take action with anti social behavior and noise it negatively impacts other guests. Housekeeping is also what I would term inconsistent especially in emptying trash bins and replenishing coffee supplies.

NillCheck your folio! This place will sneak charges on your bill and make you chase them for the credit. I literally told the receptionist that I was NOT staying and she still charged me $25 for parking. I checked in and left for the points/stay credit. I never went close to the garage, or even up to the room. In fact, I live within walking distance as notated on my license! When asked the purpose of the stay, I said clearly this is for points to regain my Platinum status as I was recently downgraded to Gold. Poor service is extremely irritating, and I want my money back!

NillWe used a third party booking site (Expedia) and chose this property largely for the hot tub and indoor pool. The hot tub has been removed and the indoor pool is not heated, so it was a huge disappointment. The $25 parking fee was also a surprise. Our room was clean and nice though.

NillDO NOT STAY HERE. My wife was recently on a work trip and got bed bugs. We had requested points to make up for damages clothing and suitcases and disinfection at our house but Marriott staff pushed us to an insurance agency and refused to make this right. It’s been over a week and she has bite all over body. We are loyal Marriott members and going to be hard to continue using the platform.

★★I stayed here awhile ago (pre-COVID) it was great. Fun, tuned in staff. Big urns of coffee in the lobby. Clean.||Now? Dirty. Worn, tired feel. The people at the front desk are tired, short, seem irritated and mechanical, not genuinely warm and friendly. When I turned in my room key, she looked annoyed that I handed it to her and pointed me to a jar on counter, with authority! I didn't feel like a customer, I felt I was being managed. Oh, they go through the over-worn statements "How was your stay?" etc but it doesn't feel like they really care, and they just want to get you out of there.||But what really irked me were the coffee urns were gone. So I bought one (for $5) from the Starbucks downstairs. When I went for a refill, it was another $5! When I mentioned to the guy behind the counter that most coffee shops refill for free, he waived the fee but I don't want to have to ask. ||I really miss the coffee urns in the lobby and the cleanliness and the friendly staff that was there before. But mostly the coffee, that was always kept fresh and ready and free. The hotel seems more run by finance trying to figure out how to cut costs and raise revenue, than by people who are trying to figure out how to improve the guest experience.
