Hyatt Regency Houston/Galleria

Nice hotel with huge rooms! Location is great, just a stones throw from all the shopping malls. Really liked the vibe in the lobby bar/lounge - food was good from the cafe - a huge pizza for a very reasonable price. The room was massive (I can see why Texans like to do everything bigger!) nice comfy bed. Would recommend!

The room was very cozy , comfortable will I worked. The beds very soft, 10/10! Drink were great we spent a couple of hours at the bar each day. The vallet was exceptional, never waited longer than the time given. Front desk lady’s were so nice and friendly! We only stay here when we’re in town.

My sister and I (30s), mom and daughter (8 years old) and an absolutely amazing time at Hyatt Regency Houston! Our flight was delayed almost 9 hours which delayed the time we checked in. We called and they were so helpful. When we finally arrived we valeted our rental and had a swift check in process. We noticed the bar/ restaurant in the lobby and knew we want to check it out. Got to our room which was beautiful as described changed into our swimsuits and went downstairs to eat at their restaurant Urban Bar. We were helped by 2 gentlemen both amazing I believe one of their names was Jamal and the other worked in bar area. We ordered bourbon and Thai chili wings, cornbread, pepperoni pizza, brisket sliders, and the roared chicken with corn and black beans. Everything was delicious. The oil was great for tanning, for adults and for kids. Valet was swift in getting our car even though they were hosting a Prom. Staff was kind, rooms were clean and overall a great experience. All about 1-2 minute walking distance from Galleria mall which is also amazing filled with designers shops. Thanks again for the great stay!

Spent 2 nights and was very satisfied with this hotel. Excellent for business travellers. I requested a quiet room and got a corner room which was truly quiet. The gym is excellent with good equipment for cardio and weights. There is an outdoor pool for lounging (not great for laps). The coffee shop in the ground floor sell very good breakfast items. I normally stay at the JW Marriott but I liked better this Hyatt property, in particular for the gym.

One of the better Hyatts I have been to. Came here for a business function for a week. Rooms are great and clean. Lobby is very nice and has valet. We had our meeting in a conference room and they set it up very nicely. The food they had for us at lunch was top notch. Overall great hotel.

The staff were friendly, which I appreciated. However, the condition of the room was disappointing. When I first walked in, I noticed a strand of hair left in the sink — an obvious sign that it hadn’t been properly cleaned. Then, when I went to turn on the mirror, I was surprised (and honestly a bit grossed out) to find a nail sitting right next to it. These things made me seriously question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned before my appointment. Cleanliness should be a basic expectation, especially in a setting like this.

Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. Dining experience was great and the food was amazing. I have stayed at the Hyatt Regency twice so far and each time exceeded my expectations. They have everything you need at this hotel from good food, a nice bar downstairs and a great pool area!

First time in Houston and this was in the scale of bad hotels.... the very definition of BAD!!! From start dificult to located as there is no signage at the entrance or anything just a homeless guy sleeping on the sidewalk that happen to be the valet (so you suppose to wake him up and handle the keys of your car...) if not sleeping the guy is playing on the phone absolutely out of this planet... from that moment on it seems like no one really cares about anything on the property. I give it 3 stars to the room that was surprised very clean (good job to the housekeeping), stay away from this property... is something else in the environment like a vice hotel type of vibes.... maybe I am wrong but I wouldn't stay long enough to find out.
