A wonderful stay at Residence Inn! We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Residence Inn! From the moment we arrived—much later than expected—the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at ease. We were running behind schedule and worried about our reservation, but the team was incredibly understanding and kind. They made sure everything was ready for us with no stress or hassle, and we truly appreciated their patience and professionalism. The room was clean, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. Everything we needed was right there—comfortable bed, spacious layout, and even a little kitchen area, which was a great bonus. The whole place has such a warm and inviting atmosphere, and it’s clear the staff really care about their guests. Special shoutout to the front desk team—they were friendly, accommodating, and honestly just a breath of fresh air after a long day of travel. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it made all the difference for us. Thank you, Residence Inn, for making our stay so smooth and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be recommending you to everyone we know!

I(Titanium Elite member) recently had an extremely disappointing experience during my stay at a Marriott hotel, which I feel compelled to share. On May 2, 2025, while I was in my guest room attending important work meetings, two men in construction uniforms knocked on my door, requesting access to my room. I explained that I was working and could not be interrupted, so they left. However, two hours later, my room’s fire alarm was triggered twice, prompting me to open the door again out of concern for an emergency. The same two men entered and began opening the walls to perform electrical work. When I asked if this was an actual emergency, they admitted it was not and refused to explain why they had set off the fire alarm. Their actions disrupted my critical work for about 45 minutes. During this ordeal, I contacted hotel staff through the Marriott app, but instead of acknowledging the issue, they attempted to justify their actions. When I called the front desk to speak with the property manager, his response was dismissive and unhelpful, making it clear he was not in control of the situation. Overall, this was a deeply frustrating and unprofessional experience that fell far below the standards I expect from Marriott. I have never encountered such disregard for guest privacy and comfort at any reputable hotel before, and I hope Marriott takes steps to address these serious lapses in guest care and security

Disappointing experience as a Titanium Elite member. Beware of the 48-hour cancellation policy. Despite having stayed 100s of nights in Marriott hotels, this property still would not waive the cancellation fee. I recommend finding another hotel or brand that rewards customer loyalty.

OK, why the five stars? I love the layout of my room! Although this hotel is seemingly far from the airport, they do have a shuttle and if you just go a mile or two, you’re near the Whiskey Cake Las Colinas and other great restaurants!

Nice suite with an agreeable layout. 1 st floor, so there are a bit of car lights. I was next to an entry door, and boy, you knew it every time someone went through it. A bit out of the way, we need a car or taxi to get anywhere to eat or get groceries. The pool was closed due to the weather, I guess. The staff were nice but needed more training. I had an extra $10 charge to my account, but they couldn't find why, even though I should them my credit card notification. No thanks for being a gold member kinda thing thing ether. Shuttle bus ladies were nice but didn't touch luggage. The first lady just yanked the door open, and I had to catch a piece of luggage as it was falling out. Lady didn't even blink.

We stayed here because a of a flight delay at DFW, front desk staff were helpful and friendly but the shuttle service was a complete SNAFU. We called to arrange shuttle pick up that evening and were told the driver would arrive in 15min only for him never to arrive. When we called back we were told it would be a 45min to 1 hour wait at 11pm. While waiting in line to check into our room we met several other families and individuals that had the same experience and during the 45min we waited to check into our room, a shuttle never showed up at the hotel. The same thing the next morning. We were told the shuttle runs every 30min, we woke up early and were in the lobby at 6:15 to be ready for the 6:30 shuttle ,and were told the shuttle was running 5-10 min late. At 6:50am we were informed they were performing a shift change and the shuttle would not be available until approximately 7:15am, these delays resulted in us spending $50 in transportation fees that were advertised as a regular and timely service by this hotel provider. Do mix ups happen, yes, just don’t give your guests false or inaccurate information when they are counting on your services to get home or to work commitments in a timely manner.

Standard Residence Inn: clean, safe, usual good breakfast. Pleasantly surprised by warmth of the staff especially Cara the shuttle driver. Only negative is having to drag bags out of the check in/main area back outside in the freezing cold to open yet another keyed door to get to room.

Worst experience ever at a Marriott I’m a diamond platinum customer. What’s most disappointing was service. Location is bad, dark no lights in the evening, no room service had to ask. Doors not working well, was open anyone could walk in. Didn’t feel safe at all. Glad it’s over and heading home Not worth for the 250 a night they charged.
