We booked a last minute room at the Home2 Suites when our flight was cancelled late at night at the DFW airport. The hotel is located just 10 minutes or so from the airport. The hotel is being renovated and there are temporary front desk furnishings and some construction dust here and there. But these things didn’t bother us at all. Dakota, the lady working the front desk that night, was kind and provided us with a few extra toiletries since we had no luggage due to our flight issues. She displayed top notch customer service and was also careful not to say our room number out loud when other guests were around for privacy and safety. I appreciated that. We had a wonderful overnight stay and we’re SO grateful to have a nice room! It was very quiet even though they were fully booked. Our room was exceptionally clean. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a cleaner room. It had a large refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher (wow!), large screen TV, microwave, and hairdryer. Our bed was very comfortable - soft but not too soft - and there were plenty of pillows. There was a sofa bed in our suite. Our adult daughter slept on it and said it was fine. ||Breakfast was good in the morning with both hot and cold options to choose from - including Texas-shaped waffles, I might add. Lol! Their fitness center is not open right now due to the renovations. But I was able to use the fitness center in the hotel right next door. The temperature was cool in that fitness center and it was less than a five minute walk away. ||We stayed in a handicapped accessible room. I will include some photos for anyone needing this. There was a lot of wide open space in both the room and bathroom - more than ample space to maneuver a wheelchair. There was a tub rather than a walk in shower, which surprised me. But the tub did have a lower than standard height lip and several sturdy grab bars. There was no non-slip bathmat. I think that would be a nice addition in the future. ||The next morning their complimentary airport shuttle drove us quickly and safely back to DFW. It runs every 45 minutes so it is best to sign up at the front desk ahead of time and find out the next availability.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for the past two weeks, and I couldn’t recommend it more! When I first arrived, the property was in the final stages of renovation—new tile was being installed, and there were temporary walls up. But now, the transformation is incredible! The new tile looks stunning, and the space feels fresh, modern, and inviting. (Even if it isn't 100% finished yet.) What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Every team member I’ve encountered has been incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to assist. Their positive attitude and constant smiles have made my stay even more enjoyable. I’m so glad I chose to stay here—it’s been a truly fantastic experience!

We stayed here before our flight out in the morning. From the moment we walked in everyone was so friendly. We got checked in super fast and made our way up to our rooms. AC in the room was nice and the rooms were large. Everything was clean and the beds were super comfortable. It was nice having shampoo conditioner and body wash in the shower complimentary. We used the airport shuttle the following morning and our driver was so friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay at this location in the future. Thank you Home2 Suites Irving North for hosting us all with a smile.

I want to give thanks to Jeff and Jesus, both were accommodating and were amazing with local info, they sent me to a great local pizza joint that was amazing. I was able to grab a beer from their selection at the front desk after I got back from dinner. Breakfast was setup on time and had plenty of selection. Shuttle service was prompt and was able to get me to where I needed to be with time to spare. I would definitely stay here another for my next trip.

Wonderful experience! The building was under construction so a bit out of sorts, but they did a great job of working around it. Our room had been rennovated and was fabulous! We will stay again for sure next time we are needing something near the airport. Would be nice if they had a bar!

Clean rooms and easy access to the airport. Bed linen freshness was doubtful and could be better. Breakfast selections were limited, but all items were top notch. Fresh organic yoghurt was a highlight.

From the moment we walked in, to the moment we checked out, every bit of our stay was exceptional. The room was clean, the AC was cold, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They are going through a full renovation, but even despite this, the hotel was clean and inviting.

I was wary of booking at Home2Suites based on my experience at other same-named properties in different cities. This property, however, was quiet (no noise from neighbors due to thin walls), it had carpet for flooring (which reduced noise), and had a huge room. The air conditioning and heating worked well, and bathrooms were clean and basic amenities were included. The kitchen area, full refrigerator and freezer were convenient - although we only stayed one night - we didn't have to wash baby bottles in the bathroom as at other hotels. The mattresses were firm, and the bedding was basic, but functional as expected for this class of hotel. We did sleep well. Note that current construction to expand the hotel means that the gym area and laundry facilities are closed right now, but the hotel has made arrangements with a neighbor hotel to host gym goers and those that need laundry services. There is a small grab-and-go setup in the lobby for drinks and necessities - nothing elaborate, but convenient. The included breakfast was a bonus, and contained both cold and hot options - waffles, eggs, scramble bowl, yogurt, cereal, etc. Food tasted good. Hotel has a shuttle to airport and does offer park-and-fly options for an additional daily charge - we opted not to use that service; however, had we learned about it in advance of booking, we may have taken advantage. Overall a five star experience.
