Having had erroneous information about my flight status I missed my last plane and had to stay overnight. At about 10:30 pm on 3/15/25 and on a Saturday night, stressed about what to do I did a search for motels close to the airport and called this one. When I asked about shuttle service (I don't have much experience with that) the reception attendant gave me the driver's name and description of the vehicle and approximate time to be picked up already making me feel better. When I got to the motel she called out my name with a smile when I walked in the door making me feel even better. After I got checked in and while having a friendly conversation she asked if I needed toiletries since I didn't have my luggage. I had forgotten all about that. She took great care of me after my stressful evening at the airport and helped me to relax and enjoy my stay. On another note the shuttle driver was very friendly and ensured I was going to the correct motel. He and I talked on the way to the motel and it allowed me to calm down. Smiles and friendly conversations does wonders for the weary traveler. These types of personnel are greatly needed this day and age. They are what makes me and others want to come back. Thank you for employing such wonderful people.

I LOVE this Hotel! The newly renovated accommodations are coming along nicely, the location is GREAT and the staff is AWESOME! Particularly The Bistro staff – Tiffany Carter is very attentive to the needs of customers as well as ensuring quality in everything prepared, both with food and drinks. The Bistro menu is very good and has been put together with several healthy options for both breakfast and for dinner in the evening. Fermin, who also works in The Bistro, is also awesome! He is also very good about ensuring everything is taken care of for all customers needs. I look forward to staying at this property again very soon upon my next trips to the DFW metroplex.

This is a great hotel to stay at; it is close to the airport; but not too far away from Arlington, Dallas or Forth Worth. The Bistro staff is excellent; Tiffany Carter is the main breakfast person. She is outstanding and made sure everything I needed was taken care of. The menu is very good - healthy alternatives to eat in the morning as well as in the evening. Fermin, who is also at the Bistro is another staff person as well who is great. He also was very attentive and ensured all needs were met. There are renovations going on but that did not detract from the experience! Highly recommend to stay at this property.

The hotel seemed a bit dated, but was comfortable and clean enough. The staff was superb and I would like to recognize the 2 shuttle drivers and the front desk staff who were really awesome. The lobby/food area was comfortable and there were several people relaxing or doing work. Nice vibe. I ate dinner at Whiskey Cake just down the road. Really good restaurant. Appears to be a brand new Aloft opening soon just next door.

Disappointing Stay at Courtyard Dallas DFW Airport North/Irving – Platinum Member Experience As a Platinum Member, I understand that airport hotels often provide limited services, but I still expect certain basic amenities to be functional—especially those that were explicitly promised. Unfortunately, my stay was far from satisfactory due to three major issues. First, the gym access that was promised was not provided. Before my stay, I received an email confirming that a shuttle service would be available to transport guests to a nearby gym. Since this is an important part of my routine, I verified the information upon check-in and even again the day before I planned to use the service. However, when I requested the shuttle, the staff member I spoke with said they had never heard of such an arrangement and that no shuttle existed. When I asked to speak with a manager, there was no manager available to address the issue. The lack of communication and failure to deliver a promised service was extremely disappointing. Second, the Wi-Fi was completely non-functional throughout my stay—not just in the rooms, but even in the lobby. This is a major inconvenience, especially for business travelers who rely on a stable internet connection. After multiple complaints, I was finally able to speak with a manager who provided a temporary solution, but this should not have been necessary in the first place. Third, the fridge in my room was broken, causing my food to spoil. A working fridge is a basic amenity that should be checked and maintained regularly, and this issue further added to the frustration of my stay. The biggest issue here is the failure to deliver on promised services and the lack of communication among staff. If a hotel promises a gym shuttle, every employee should be aware of this service and ensure it is provided. Additionally, Wi-Fi should be a given at any modern hotel, especially one catering to business travelers. That being said, the one highlight of my stay was the breakfast service. The staff was very kind and attentive, and the food was excellent—well above my expectations. It was the one aspect of my stay that stood out in a positive way. For anyone who prioritizes fitness, reliable internet, or basic room functionality, I cannot recommend this location. If these issues are not addressed, I would strongly advise considering alternative accommodations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to enhance the guest experience in the future.

the Courtyard DFW exceeded our expectations as a place to park and fly. The restaurant had surprisingly good food and service as well. |We left our car for ten days and had a great experience with the shuttle to and from the airport. This hotel is my choice moving forward when I need to park and fly from DFW.

When checking in, I noticed that there were 3 charges to my account. I asked about it at the front counter and was told that she made an "oopsy" when doing accounts. She reversed the charges when she made the "oopsy" but by that time the damage was already done. Of course the refund took a couple of days to return to my account. I had to make travel adjustments, transfer funds and incurred fees. I felt I should have received a credit for one night for fees and inconvenience. I was asked to provide a screenshot of my fees. When I responded that my bank doesn't allow screenshots and my e-statement was not yet available, I was offered breakfast vouchers and points. Sorry, but for me, points and breakfast vouchers don't cover this incident.
