Super 8 by Wyndham Irving/DFW Apt/North

This location is wonderful! The rooms are modern, kept very clean and sanitized. They have very spacious rooms and provide assistance to and from the airport. The staff is super friendly here they are very patient and understanding and their level of professionalism is outstanding and is on par with some of the upscale hotels I have stayed at such as the Omni. I recommend this location to Anyone who wants to do a staycation or a quick and budget friendly get away or business trip

I spent 2 weeks in this hotel room, and here’s my opinion Pros : 1. I love the fact that there was a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel, and vice versa. Not a lot of hotels have that. 2. I stayed in room 216 Which was on the second floor and it was a very nice clean room 3. The staff are very friendly and very talkative 4. Great price Cons : 1. Every time I needed someone at the front desk, I waited around five minutes Until a worker came from the back 2. The amount of times I would go to the second floor up to my room just for my key card, not to be read by the hotel room door, and then I’d have to go back downstairs and wait five minutes for someone to come from the back, Just so I would have to go all the way back upstairs to my room and try it again, is ridiculous 3. The breakfast consists of orange and apple juice and granola bars, that’s it 4. It would be nice if they put stuff in the mini fridge for you, I know not all hotels do that, but I thought that whenever it said that there was a mini fridge in the hotel room, there would be snacks and drinks in it, but there was nothing 5. There is nothing to do within walking distance in the area In conclusion, I definitely would go back to this hotel if I had another layover in Dallas, but it’s not necessarily a hotel I want to return to for two weeks again 4 stars

For the price you get exactly what you pay for but the room smells like mildew and mold. The floor was soaking wet. I tried to get the room switched but the front desk host said they were out of rooms. Which is understandable. I’m going to just keep my shoes on and hope for the best.

Let’s face it, it’s not a 5-star hotel, but for the price, you can’t expect that. It was an affordable option to stay near the airport and worked perfectly for one night. The drive from the airport was short and easy, and surprisingly, there was no noise from the nearby airport. It was cheap with comfy beds, and it was clean, which is exactly what I needed. The hallway had a bit of a strange smell, and the breakfast options were just coffee, tea, and trail bars—not quite what I’d call a full breakfast. However, the location felt safe and quiet. We had a late flight and stayed for just one night, and it worked out perfectly for us

My husband used hotels.com and booked a double bed for 6/7/25 a week before our trip, we arrived to the location and the lady informed him there were no double beds available even though we had a current reservation. We were able to cancel for free. CALL AHEAD and make sure your room is available and reserved. We were out in a bind and left with the options of VERY expensive rooms elsewhere or a not so great/safe part of town! very displeased with the situation.

From a long international flight during a bad weather, this was the best hotel with a fast and easy reservation booking. Close to the airport, easy checking, perfect hot cup of tea and coffee. The room was clean and very spacious, after 16 hours from 4 airports with pissed off, rude airport agents, this Hotel made my day with a hot shower, warm comfy bed and very quite surrounding for a restful night rest. And in the morning the Hotel staff even got an Airport Shuttle to pick up everyone who was heading to the airport. A service with a smile. Thank you for your kindness and care.

At an unacceptably late hour of the night, one of the hotel employees -(a tall, East Indian man), appeared at my room & began knocking on my door. Since it was already very late in the evening, I began scrambling for clothes to put on, as I was dressed only in underwear.I immediately answered & asked what was going on. He promptly demanded I produce further identification & insinuated I had registered under false pretenses.-(This is an entirely false explanation, since the reservation was made 4 days prior to this incident). I replied ok & began walking over to retrieve my i.d. He however, decided he was in too much of a big hurry & attempted to burst into my hotel room-(He was unsuccessful in his attempt only because the door security latch was engaged). I retrieved my cell phone instead to verify the online reservation-(which was something he was unable to do, for some unexplainable reason). Any legitimate misunderstanding over either my name on the account or even my status as a paying customer could & should have been resolved by contacting me either on the room phone or by my cell. He offered no apologies whatsoever for his inappropriate actions & if I didn't know any better, I think he would have me believe he was doing both of us a favor. In a separate incident, another man who also worked the front desk approached me outside the laundry room & began discussing male masturbation. He then proceeded to demonstrate a "technique" before me, which I will decline to discuss here, for obvious reasons... Clients of Wyndham & Super 8 should have the expectation that a professional environment exists throughout their stay & especially one that is free of sexual harassment!!!

Unfortunately, I booked this room because it was the only one left paid way too much. Like I have a room at the Marriott in my destination town. The cost less than what this room costs the room is disgusting. There Were no Amenities. We were told there would be a grab and go breakfast, The all they had was a Granola bar and apple juice. And as you can see From the pictures The shower was Pretty much. Unusable.
