La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Houston La Porte

Had flies in my room mold in the ac mold on the walls bathroom wall and air vents sheets and towels were dirty. The owner is racist I have never stayed at a hotel where I couldn’t refuse room especially when I have my sheets and blankets and towels. I’m paying for the room and if I don’t want service I don’t have to have it. I will never ever stay there again. They need the old owners back

Went there TDY in my first duty station in 1991. Was a great place to stay then. Have some great memories. Went to the port and banded vehicles returning from the desert then came to the room and hung out. Was really cool in the rooms. Went for some long runs and then there was a little bar down the road. The seafood restaurant that is there now was a kettle at the time, where we would go for early morning breakfasts.

We have been to some hotels over this summer and went home thinking it was a big mistake. This La Quinta is SUPER CLEAN, SUPER QUIET, the rooms are set up so cute and the beds are like sleeping on fluffy, heavenly clouds. My husband, kids and I slept so so well. When we need a room, we are DEFINITELY coming back!! Their pool is even open, super stoked for that one!!! Then, they have HIGH quality lotion, shampoo and conditioner samples for the people like me that don't come prepared. Wow! The pool is so clean and my kids, my husband and I are having a great time. I highly recommend this business!!

Emergency stay, for the first time great location not a lot of traffic did not notice any disturbing activity of any kind outside of the building or parking lot. The room looked and smelled very clean. I called front desk letting them know that I had a small issue with the air conditioning temperature and who was sending his employee Steve from the maintenance department. He arrived promptly, it was very helpful,polite and knowledgeable taking care of the job within minutes having no more issues. Very nice location to stay and definitely will be back

Extremely poor rooms with not even basic amenities. Water was dripping from faucet, no soap/shampoos were provided, switches were broken. There was no breakfast available even though it was mentioned on the online booking site. Would have given a 0 rating if available.

Our plane was late, waited 2 hours to get a car, when we arrived at the motel it was 12:20am. It was a 4 day paid in full room. They cancelled our reservation. Would not give us the reservation back. And wanted to charge almost double to give us a room for the night. Will not go back. Will use America's Best Motel 6.

It's not as bad as some of the reviews it's u get what u pay for to be honest. They say they have free continental breakfast which they don't have and there pool is not in working order . Other then a few flaws in room with walls ect didn't bother us . Water was hot ac was cold bed was comfy and clean . Wasn't loud so all in all me and my family enjoyed our stay . We stayed last summer as well now they are doing renovation

This is by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. There was no holder for the toilet paper rolls so the rolls were on the floor of the bathroom and they were wet. There were only 4 hand towels in the room to use between 4 people and the office said they didn’t have any other towels to give us . Light bulbs missing in 2 of the 4 light fixtures. Neither of the 2 ice machines worked. The pool was grungy and green , not swimmable. And the free continental breakfeast consisted of coffee and there was 2 prepackaged honeybuns and that was it! DO NOT RECOMMMEND STAYING HERE! staff was rude and was not concerned about the issues we had here
