Sonesta Essential La Porte

I was a little nervous about booking here but I am so glad I did! It's a very quiet neighborhood and I have felt quite safe, even running out to my car. Everything is clean and well lit. The room is great, fresh towels are so nice, and the staff is very dedicated! The convenience store prices are good and the laundry is so helpful. Bring a few detergent pods though. Everything went smoothly (a mundane miracle!!) and I will be back again.

Not as clean as the other reviews make it seem. Our towels ans curtains were stained and the entire place kind of smelled like tea tree oil. We were on the second floor and could hear everything going on above us. We use a rain machine so it was fine for sleeping but if you love silence, this isn't the place.

EVERYTHING was amazing! Customer service was so awesome,staff was very sweet!! Breakfast was delicious,rooms were spacious and clean. I LOVED IT HERE and my whole family&I enjoyed our stay during Easter 2025! Definitely recommend!!!

Sonesta Essentials is like a little paradise in an industrial/residential area. Easy to drive to nearby grocery stores, gas, restaurants. Impeccably clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds. Friendly, welcoming staff. Indoor pool and gym. Reduced rates for extended stay. Includes breakfast 6-9 am. On site laundry room for guests. Mini fridge, microwave, cable TV. Plenty of parking. Will stay again in the future, highly recommend.

Nice place. Not sure why the stars were so low. That made me question staying here. I guess grumpy people will be grumpy…. I did notice the dehumidifiers stayed full and off on floor 3 the whole time I was there. Even though I told the main desk they were full and off. Dunno.

The hotel is beautiful outside and in. Haven't seen a grand staircase in a new build hotel ever! The room was comfortable and inviting. Only issue was a light in the bathroom was out.

This has got to be the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at. The rates are reasonable and the location is great. The rooms are sound proof which is good for getting quality rest. And the front desk staff are very friendly. Highly recommend!!!!!
