Newly renovated. Everything is pristine. I was impressed with the bed, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Comforter was the perfect weight. Towels soft and fluffy. Well appointed kitchen. Very clean and friendly staff.

I really like this hotel especially the front desk staff very nice and cheery.||When I arrived to the hotel I really admired how clean and quiet it was I felt like I was the only guest at the hotel. When I got to my room there was a cool little kitchen area with a stove and a fridge . I also noticed how clean my room was. Another thing I liked about my room was that the shower had good hot water which is important to me. When I got up the next morning I went down stairs to have breakfast it smelled delicious and the eating area was super clean and the food was hot and freshly cooked. After my breakfast I went to the workout area to get in a work the equipment was clean and up to date equipment that allowed me to get in a good workout. I really like this hotel.

Pros: Quiet. Did not hear a lot of loud guests. Parking close. Easy access to highway. Nice sized room. Nice to have dishes and silverware. Ice cube trays were filled and frozen. Cold air. Cons: Took >10 minutes for someone to show up to check me in. First set of keys didn’t work. Stained walls in every room. Shower curtain had stains. Very thin comforter/bedspread. Pool/hot tub closed indefinitely… that was not posted on website. Back door entrance permanently unlocked by our room, no key needed. Missing light over back entrance with wires hanging off building… no fixture. Had to wait for clean laundry to get 2 more wash rags. Towels thin and worn. Phone cord to call front desk missing to phone in room. Breakfast was dry cereal and waffle machine. Elevator stops on 2nd floor, light/button on permanently. Seriously I can’t make all this up!

Was not happy with this place. The room obviously had not been finished with housekeeping. There was a half empty water bottle setting on the room table, no complimentary shampoo, conditioner, or bar soap. There was only 1 small waste can in the bathroom, none in the kitchen/bed area. We called front desk & they quickly brought the items to our room. Staff was nice & was very accommodating with my room requests of ground floor near an exit door so I could take our small house dog outside for potty & walkin shower. Bathroom had shotty caulking around the floor & shower area had cracked/expanded tiles. They did have an outside pet area, but did not refill the dog poop bags (fortunately I always bring my own). Breakfast was still a grab & go bag. Not many stayed at this hotel compared to other hotels in the area. We will not stay here again.

My family booked several rooms at this hotel to attend a graduation and was very disappointed! Because it was a Marriott property, I thought we were good but not so.....bad reflection on Marriott. I knew we were in trouble when we pulled into the parking lot and the door to the lobby was standing wide open. We entered into a HOT lobby with circulating fans on the floor. The hallway was also warn like no trace of A/C. My room had air but not working the best. The carpet looked as though it hadn't been replaced in 25yrs and the patio area was FILTHY....hadn't been swept in I don't know how long. To top things off, no wash cloths or bar soap in bathroom. Went down to lobby and was told that housekeeping doesn't come to work til 8am and they would bring some to my room. I went bck down around 8:15 to see what was going on because I hadn't received the towels and there were a line of people asking for wash cloths so I wasn't the only 1. After getting the wash cloths and soap about 1hr later, the lady in housekeeping said "here r ur wash cloths. They aren’t the best but they r clean". She was so right when she said they aren’t the best because they looked worse than my cleanup towels at hm. I will never stay here again , and will definitely not recommend to anyone else!!!!!

The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Accommodated all our needs with a genuine small. The beds were the worst I've ever slept on. The living space with sofa and kitchen area were small and out dated. Too small for a two bedroom suite. The price was too high considering the size of the living space, tiny bathroom and of course the terrible mattresses. I would consider staying again for myself only in a single room if the beds were updated but only because the staff were great. Otherwise I will not stay again. There are better more comfortable hotels in Lubbock.

I think this was one of the worse Marriott hotels that I have ever stayed in. In the first room, they gave me, nothing worked, no phone, no power outlets, no AC, and had holes in the couch. In the second room, they gave me the roof was caving in because of water damage and had black mold. The light fixture on the ceiling over the desk was coming down, exposing wires. The toilet had brown stains at the bottom because it wasn’t kept clean, there was a film of dust everywhere, it was missing the easy chair and they did not have breakfast in the morning (even though the state of Texas had removed all covid restrictions several weeks prior). We requested a bottom floor room because of our disabilities but were told that they were full even though there were only a few cars in the parking lot. After we got there and got into the second room and complained (but was too scared to ask for a different room because it might be worse than what we had) we were told the hotel is just about to start renovations. We were not told this until after we were in the room. If we were warned about this we would have chosen another Marriot hotel. I have never had a problem with the Marriot brand and usually love your hotels. But this experience gave me a bad taste. I am hoping with this review that you will change the way you advertise your hotels that are going through renovations and warn the public (or at least your rewards members) about the state of the hotel.
